decided to get some shelves from ikea for the storage of me shoes and boots. some photos of it being done.

Well, it's a combination of the rise and the slim fit. With the higher rise the waist band likes to sit at my hips, so the fabric in that area gets pulled around and is an area of high tension especially when I'm running, pushing, or doing any type of trick. What I've found is that a fuller cut with a mid to high rise is perfect so the denim can move and flex in a natural way without any tension but then again I have a pretty dense build so these may be perfect for a more normal type of build.

Yeah that may be correct, but in the end I think it comes down to the slim, or the wide, cut.

Spent three days at in my home town Helsingborg, Sweden.

My mother still lives there.

We (Me, my mother and my two children) visited Fredriksdal http://www.fredriksdal.se/ a kind of garden. I have spent many days there as a child. Lovely place.

My children loved it as well.

Yeah I started with the IH666UHR. But I developed a nasty wound in my fold of the knee. I got scared and switched to these

I have on the other hand registered both pairs. So I might switch back at some point.

I realise that MaxP most likely won't be going with this option with the choice of better / closer repair in Germany and/or the Netherlands ... but my experience with DD left me unimpressed. I'd avoid in all honesty.

Did DD once, too - not impressed or recommended...

Melvin aka mr Handy Denim Repair is the man, He did a few darning repairs for me... neat jobs. Nice fella too.

I've spent the last three days on a private ranch, the Colorado River Ranch, on the Colorado River, as Sector Judge for the World Youth Fly Fishing Championship.

Temps ranged from mid 80's to 90 in bright sun; some rain, wind, clouds. Lots of walking in mud, dirt, dust, brush, bushes, thistle, etc. Got my jeans soaked one morning from walking through rain soaked willows, which washed a lot of dirt off. 

 

No idea why I worn heavy dark clothes in this weather. I guess I just wanted to see what it would feel like wearing clothing like this is hot sun. After a short while, I built up a layer of sweat that acted like a moisture barrier from the sun. When the sun wasn't out, it was rather comfortable. 

 

Jeans and shirt are filthy dirty and sweat soaked. They're getting washed. Again. In the washing machine. With soap. Warm water. Extra rinse. Spin cycle.

This weekend was my birthday so my wife and I took up north in Michigan to the thumb area. Did a lot of kayaking, biking and visited a dark sky park. Didn't realize i was observing aurora activity until i got home
