Typhoon Soudelor is still passing through here, but I decided to go out for a bit today despite the strong winds.

Chicote, holy shit those posts were fucking epic. Seriously amazing what humans can do with limited resources. If you put me out in the jungle to live like those people I would probably perish in a month.

Sorry for iPhone quality ... Just thought to share.

To be honest, the denim started out a little too light & loose for my liking cuz I'm used to tighter weaved, more robust 15ozers. But, after a few soaks & a wash, the denim started to reveal its grail potential.

I particularly like how they got crisp & crinkly after a cold wash. I won't be doing any wash til fall, tho. Will post before & after wash when it's time.

Wonderful updates! I wish I could do some but we've had three weeks of over 30°C, ranging up to 39°C and witth my arm in the cast I'm sweating like a hounddog (and my jacket doesn't fit over it). Will be back in the north in10 days, that should help.

those are biomass feedstock for biomass power plant. they are usually agricultural wastes (waste wood from wood mills/rice husks/corn cob etc. etc.). They are stored in warehouse waiting to be supplied to power plant's boiler. I work in renewable energy business on the financing side of things, but sometimes i have to go inspect plants around the country to assess conditions and technical aspects of the operation. sometimes i shall write a post about them.

Thanks buddy they are getting better and better with every wash. There is a lot of puckering, roping , marbling and what not going on. And the rivets start to oxidize also slowly. Will upload the rest of the pictures on the dwc thread and instagram.

For those of you guys with a good amount of washes, you are getting a good amount of thigh fades (at least blue nemo and max). Are you guys hand washing/rubbing the jeans? I just never get those kinds of thigh fades that fast, and I am wondering if maybe it has to do with your washing method.
