Just gotta show some love for the Outlier Slim Dungarees.

Look exactly like jeans but are super comfortable & flexible with dat tech water resistant fabric.

Don't really get stretched out and lose form either. Seriously the ultimate pant i wear em everyday.

only thing is, dungarees are mad short compared to other outlier bottoms. highwater status when i cross my legs

i've also noticed that the schoeller really loses effectiveness after awhile. i haven't tried drying or ironing mine to 'reactivate' it per documentation, but the last time i spilled a beer on my lap i might as well have been wearing denim

^ I had 3 pairs of the OG, and while mad comfortable, all three ended up with crotch blow-outs, which was kinda disappointing. :(

The slim dungarees have held up all winter tho. Maybe I'll give the climbers a try next.

yeah the quality from what I've been hearing leaves a lot to be desired. I've been lucky but my friend who has a pair says the same thing, ripped.

you can dye it. use rit dye or whatever. probably 2 packets. wash it twice to gain its water repellencey

Re: dungarees nanosphere treatment, 5-10 minutes in the drier and it'll be like new.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but anyone have thoughts on the outlier shorts? Not really my aesthetic but definitely moreso than say chino shorts or something. I live in Texas and shorts are pretty much mandatory to survive the Summer and something like RO shorts would pretty much defeat the purpose for me. Plus I don't have a real swimsuit and those it looks like they function as that purpose also.

I also live in Texas and was wondering the same thing. I hate how I look in shorts, but it's too damn hot not to wear em...

I had a pair of the outlier shorts and upon first wearing the button popped off. But other than that, they worked pretty well for me, very light and breathable, but this summer I'm goin totru some of their ultra light summer pants.

The thing about all these outlier questions, is they have a 6 month (THAT'S SIX MONTHS, 180 DAYS) no question return policy. Just buy the shit and if you don't like it, send it back.

^ thanks. just tried it. in the washing machine now.

i am pretty sure rit dye isn't going to do anything... there is a good amount of synthetic fibers, which ordinary rit dye will NOT stick to. there are such things as synthetic fiber dyes (available at fabric/arts stores), but i am doubtful that these will achieve the color you're looking for. you might just have to buy another pair

Yup. I saw that and was pretty impressed. Picking up the Climbers today.

Side note from my deleted post earlier... 15% off Rapha going on right now. I was gonna buy the city riding trousers, but just realized they're not water-resistant. Bummer.

The city riding trousers are basically black chinos, nicely tailored with riders in mind. But their soft shell pants are excellent for foul conditions - too warm for anything but winter use tho.

it actually worked out after dying twice. the only part that didnt take to the dye was the inside lining.

[01] Bought from a Grailed seller, that listed it as 8/10
[02] Jacket came, it was dyed by RIT, seller did not respond (his previous conversation was perfect)
[03] Took it to professional dyeing service, now it's black, waterproof, but still does not fit me. You can compare the black to a week old unwashed SISP poplin pants and Pantone U Process black.
[04] Hardware painted with ACR x FUTURA2000 x Montana black, added OG olive pull tab with ACR logo, tested for waterproofness and listed here and there. The inside print came partly off during the dyeing.

Vintage Moncler down jacket from the Moncler Pour Lionel Terray line produced in the 50's and 60's for mountaineer Lionel Terray. This is about as rare as it gets, you'll be hard pressed to find another example of this period. Size is no longer marked but fits me well and I'm 183cm and 75kg - would assume around a L. A true relic from the mountain/fashion crossover world. As this jacket is approximately 50+ years old, it does have some flaws as illustrated. All things considered it's in amazing condition for its age. It definitely could do with a dry clean although I haven't attempted to do so yet.   Lionel can be seen sporting the blue version in this image   http://i.nordstromimage.com/images/Store/blog/men/2012/11_12/Moncler_Heritage_Nordstrom_Lionel_Terray_1964_alaska_color.jpg Advertiser jamesyo Date 04/02/2017 Price $500.00 Category outerwear
