I had a similar problem with my 3005s. Just pour some cold water on the fly area, reposition it so it looks normal, and let it dry. You may have to repeat (teehee) the process a couple of times if it keeps sticking out until it stays.

got my f310s today in the mail, look awsome as cept they literally feel liek cardboard i would have thought they would be softer but apparenlty not

^ give em a soak to get some of the starch out, that will soften them up some.

or, i'd recommend giving them a hot wash w/o any soap or detergent to get the shrinkage out of the way, this will also get much of the excess starch out and soften them up as well.

hahah yea thanks they are hot soaking atm. hopefully they will shrink a lil but gotta ge tit hemed but overrall looks like a good jean looking forward to breaking them in

Just soaking (well, initial gentle machine wash actually) my F350s to form part of my autumn/winter/spring rotation.

Blimey! These things shrank more than I thought with a 60° wash - over 2" in the waist (from approximately 33.25/33.5 to 31/31.25). I wore them briefly wet to stretch them out about a bit and I managed to get them to about 31.75 - I was able to button them up all the way first time. I just hope the waist and thighs will give a bit with wear!

are you looking for something with a similar fit to 19cm? if so the BSP would be a better bet than F310.

If you want something with the cut of a dior 19cm, you should get the dior 19cm.

Literally nothing will fit like them, even 19cm 'inspired' cuts, like the imperial one from a few years back.

The BSPs fit nothing like 19cms, honestly. they just dont.

(I have 2 pair of 19cms and a pair of BSPs) Maybe if you size down in BSPs you might get a slim look, but really- they're not going to look like 19cms.

anybody got experience with FH 3009? It's described as a shallow rise. Similar to Samurai 5000VX?

i have a pair of 3009's in a 30 and they fit pretty similar to my 0500's in the same size , the rise is just slightly higher (i could give you comparison measurements if you like)

ive got all the shrinkage out of the way but theve yet to be worn

yeah the 3001 would be too tight for me through the leg and the 3005 might be too big at the leg. 3009 seems to be right in the middle.

waist-wise both pairs measure 30 when fully shrunken?!

Both are available with the old/new stitching but one is 2000 Yen more expensive. How come?

i've noticed a lot of higher prices for fh models around lately too- maybe it's just new stock with a new price rise? just a suggestion, i don't know anything for certain.

Just got an answer from 2nd. The newer lots are indead more expensive but they feature new front pocket cloths.

Fit pics of my 4001BK sz 28 I picked up a little while back. I haven't put too much wear into them yet since I've worn my pbj 005bk more. Also, the front pockets are way tight and it didn't help that they received an unexpected soak in the ocean one night. I need to put some more wear into them to loosen up the pockets, it's such a pain to try and fish stuff out of those pockets. These probably won't be seeing too much wear in my rotation until after I break in the pbj's some more though.
