i sized down 1-1.5ish (hawaiis) and these bitches, after 3 weeks, are stretched a ton. i couldnt button the top button when i got them and now i can take them off without unbuttoning. contemplating a soak to shrink these back down. thoughts?

According to Sugar Cane, this pair is one of 200 or so pairs they made over 10 years ago for the US and EU markets. I wonder how many are still around, and of those how many are in some form of deadstock shape...

Some interesting details include a greenline selvedge and Mt Fuji arcs.

The tag features a sumo and states a size 32/35. Hand measurements yield a 33.5" waist, a 36.5" inseam, and an 8.25" hem. I neglected to measure the rise, but it's really high.

這個由美國舊金山的：ＭISTER FREEDOM 與 SUGAR CANE 合作的背包

在袋身的外層採取SUGAR CANE公司獨家開發出的 棉質混合甘蔗纖維織成的丹寧布製作而成

而且每一個單一的布料裁切片（如前後片與內外口袋及背帶）都是用不同種的純天然染料染製

的布料製作,也正是SUGAR CANE至今發行過的各種純天然染料褲款所使用的布料

並且縫製的方式也採用多處與牛仔褲製作的方式相同的方法

另外袋身更採用Buzz Rickson's 製作A-2 夾克所用的厚馬皮來製作提把、釦帶

背包側面更使用一個A-2 夾克的口袋

除了考究部份材質與製作方式也融入了創新的設計

並且將背包經過長期使用之後會演變的質感、材質變化

都考量進去

五金方面更採用美軍在二戰時期愛用的相同規格材質的釦環

還有最高級的軍規ＤＯＴ銅質壓釦

側面可以看出邊緣的布料縫合處與多數復刻牛仔褲的外側接合處製作方式相同

背面的樣式

有馬皮A-2 夾克口袋的另一側面

長背帶上車縫預留給使用者的名條 ,這也是多款ＭISTER FREEDOM 與 SUGAR CANE 合作的產品上有的共同特色

長背帶上使用的就是這款可調節長度的老式五金銅釦

袋身外側口袋除了內側有襯上一層補強的布料以外邊緣處也刻意露出丹寧布邊

馬皮提把上使用來固定的烤漆銅釘釦

由提把皮革的橫切面可以看出使用之馬皮的厚度

軍規ＤＯＴ銅質壓釦

皮革提把與丹寧布袋身接合處的邊緣加上了這個補強布料來抵抗拉扯與重壓的側面力量

讓布料更耐久背包更耐用

整個背袋內側都襯上一層濃厚海軍風格的條紋丹寧布料

另外內層也有一個丹寧布料口袋

袋口中央的這個銅質檔片是為了避免袋口上馬皮的釦帶與上面的五金釦長期與袋口邊緣布料摩擦

造成邊緣布料破損而增加的設計,實在是考慮周到

袋身兩側的馬皮提耳以銅釘固定補強

下方也可看見袋身丹寧布料的接合方式

yea i did size down one, though they were never really tight anywhere but the waist, due to the cut. in general im not too big on repro lines, but im really digging the look of these.

shipping, as usual, depends on location. could proboably look that one up, but generally costs me from 1400 to 8500 yen. japan to my house is generally 5-6 days (west coast). no customs to the usa from anywhere that ive ever seen.

由左至右分別是 SC40051 、 SC40065 、 SC41947

照片中三件都是W30的相同尺寸,但是除了 SC40051是已經下水一次預縮過的One Wash 版

另外兩款都是未下水縮過的 Non Wash 版本

也因為如此才有較大的差距

I picked up a pair of the rainbow/okinawa's from ebay they are a one wash real soft hairy denim, green line selvege and a green tape on the in-seam which i am not sure about yet. The rainbow weft colouring has been toned right down as someone already posted earlier in the thread. They are cut very similarly to my lvc 201's and are super comfortable i will post some pics when i get a bit of wear on them.

SC1947 W36 (true to size, maybe even a big big) bought raw. They've had a lot of washes - 3 or 4 machine and probably 4-5 soaks. I'd guess somewhere around 4 months of wear over the past year. I have an office job, so they're only worn every other Friday - Sunday and nights (they'be been in rotation with some S5000VXs that I got in March). I've had to restitch the crotch twice, patch once, 5th pocket once, and various other edge stitching a couple of times. Color is pretty darn close to real-life (I love the blue they're at right now), same goes for contrast. Interestingly enough, I love how the right side is turning out on the front and the left side on the back. Don't mind the cat...

Came off my vespa this morning, wearing my okinawas and slided some meters on a wet road.After checking my scooter which was ok apart from a huge scratch on the sidepanel I took a closer look at my jeans and all what happened were some nice fades on my left thigt and a white knee,the denim is absolutely unhurt apart from this weird fades on my left leg.As I just moved last weekend and the bloody digicam is in some of the still 20 unpacked boxes(which my wife packed and she hasnt got a clue in which one the camera could be) I have to wait until it appears.

Well,all I want to say is that sugarcane denim is tough as nails and my okis are a bit special now.

Fit pics of my 1966s. They are 31x34. I put them through the auto soak setting on my washer, and that's definitely what I'm using from now on. I really like the way these fit. High waist that's slightly boxy up top, with a strong taper.

Plenty of leg twist on these...
