The fit is really much like the 510, very long rise, wide legs, long inseam. I expected much more of a slimmer cut like the 0500XX but that's also what I have to deal with. Will soak in a minute and hope for serious shrinkage, looks I can need it.

W34:

waist 89cm

frontrise 30 cm

inseam 97,5 cm

leg opening 23,3 cm

And I am not sure if I'll like them. A bit fancy in my opinion. I had some Zoo York Jeans years ago that also had these details. But as the yellow arcs tend to disappear over the years, I think it will look ok. We'll see

Regarding the "organic": Yeah, the flasher shows these words (a picture of a jeans tab), but the denim is the same as on the 710 / 510 19 oz models. It's probably just a link to Samurai as part of Osaka's culture.

I hope for you that post soak your thigh will shrink a lot! Kind of looks like you can put 2 of your leg in the thigh.

But I think post soak this will look a real nice loose fit.

^Yes, tight they ain't The 19 oz denim is not known for crazy shrinkage, but my rough measurements show, that the inseam shrank around 2" (is at 92-93cm now, started at 97,5-98cm, the hem is at 22,2cm, so around 0,5" shrinkage). Seems like they matched the upper part of the 510 with the lower part of the 5000 or 0500. At least I guess so. Tomorrow we'll know.

Does anyone knows how to order the jeans with hem service in 2nd? They dont speak english and is difficult with the translator. Do they a pre soak before hem?

Oddly enough it wasn't any easier to get hemming done when I was standing in the store. Very glad I had google translate on my phone.

I'm back. They didn't shrink as much as I hoped for, but I love the fit - so damn comfy. I just need to figure out wether I want to get them hemmed (as I'm in Berlin in two weeks, I could do it at DC4).

The measurements:

Waist: 89 cm --> 84 cm

Inseam: 98cm --> 93,5cm

Front rise: 30 --> 29 cm

Leg opening: 23,3 --> 22,2 cm (just like my Eternal 888).

The fit: I was aiming at a much slimmer look, but I actually like that one a lot. I'm really happy.

Really curious how the two arcs together will evolve. Celluloid had a collab with hidden arcs and painted arcs. that was really interesting and I thought that made more sense.

But we will see

I am too. When the yellow ones have fallen apart, I will still have my hidden ones. What I already like - the combs will form in a wide shape, and as I know the 19 oz denim, they will look sweet when they start to fade.
