I'm pretty sure even stupid girl bands like All Saints did it all the time at some point (wife or tanks-all about the multiple straps), looked pretty good. Sincerely he's doing a Dior look not a japanese hipster look so that's where his style originates from, it's very Northern European look IMHO.
