I really want to remove and fade the indigo on a new pair of 1915 LVC with a consistent fade rather than go for the usual fade patterns. Apart from loads of washing does anyone one have any other tips (not bleach though!)

Nope, washing it is it. How light do you want to take them down to? You should get a noticeable difference with a two or three months of wear and a wash every two weeks.

Thanks setterman I'll keep washing - i'm working on some 55 at the moment but was looking at an all over colour reduction rather than usal whisker fades. I fancied a change from the usual raw denim blue for the spring

I'm wondering if anyone knows a brand of Denim, that offers a multitude of colors in tall inseams, (above 36") ?

I've got every color of STF Levis 501's in whichever one of these sizes I can find the color in:

32-38

32-36

33-36

33-38

Colors:

Optic White

Natural

Sand

Tobacco

Taupe

Toffee

BBQ

Olive

Knight

Jet Black

I like the legs of 501's. They're perfect. But the rises of my 505's and 514's are lower/better. Does anyone know a brand that has a lower-rise 501-inspired cut and offers at least 36' inseams in natural colors, or primary colors ??

This guy is trading me a pair of Dior Jeans for my worn APC's. Don't really know much about Diors. Can anyone tell which ones these are from the pics? All I know is that they're MII other than that the guy I'm getting them from doesn't know much about the jeans. Is it worth trading for my APC's or is it even a legit pair?

I can't really tell if it's authentic or not, just by these few pictures. Post the pictures of the tags, helps better. If the trader is new, just do a cross reference or do a brief background check. Trading Diors for APCs is a trade at loss so i doubt anyone in their right mind would do that. Take precaution

I have recently received a Lofgren LS-010 Black Chambray Workshirt in Small - it's too small to keep.

I'd buy the medium but its sold out.

Hence the question...What Black Chambray Workshirt is of a (very) similar Quality/ Style?

McCoy's? Sadly don't offer one at the moment (do they?)

The Freewheelers is definitely the right direction - might not fit though - i may need a large - the japanese sizing is where i cocked up with the Lofgren Shirt.

Ideally i'd like Salt and Pepper Chambray with White stitching and Black Buttons.

The Buzz Rickson Shirt is similar to the Freewheelers in Look - ie Black/Black

Yeah - The Buzz might be the way to go.

Selfedge recommended the Buzz Rickson Shirt and Blue in Green recommended the Momotaro.

Maybe i'll have a closer look at the Buzz or hope Mccoys do one soon.

PBJ 11's appear to be the best bang/buck in terms of quality. Strike Gold is really pricey, especially the 3109, considering the PBJ equivalent is $100+ cheaper.

I'd choose a coloured Weft and LFT.

PBJ then Strike Gold would be my preference. Are they both grey & LHT - Same fabric?

Hope you guys don't mind me asking but is the 3109 fabric any "better" than the PBJ xx-011? Is the $150 premium a sole result of fabric weight or is Strike Gold somehow better? I've been creeping this board heavily and laxlife's SG2109 is BEAUTIFUL for only 4 months. That price tho... ugh.

I would consider Flat Head and Samurai because of their popularity on this board but I really want to replace my APCs with a colored weft jean.

Quality is great for the money,

SC sizing is quoted from the center of the pin to the center hole of the 5 holes.

A 32" Sc Garrison is perfect for a 29" to 31" waist. They do stretch 0.5" with a few years wear.

I´m from Madrid and here there is only one shop specialized in raw denim (http://www.concretemadrid.com). The owner is a taylor and he makes bespoke denim jeans, shirts and jackets with japanese and american fabrics. He makes also very nice chinos dyed with coffee, curry,... He has a very artistic denim concept.

My favourite shop in Madrid is called Sportivo. (http://www.gruposportivo.com) with brands like YMC, folk, libertine libertine,... They aren´t specialized in denim but they have jeans by Levis vintage and Naked and famous.

Other nice stores in Madrid are Sup&Rem (with paul smith jeans and nudie) and other brands like Commes des Garçons, Wood Wood,... and Clean (that sell apc jeans).

Is totally impossible to find heavyweight raw denim in Spain and I don't know that there is a store selling japanese brands. All cool stores here sell nudie jeans.
