@ecsong187 to be honest, I didn't pay attention to which season they came from because I kept thinking I was going to get the Lot 54 BB, but they are the "current" LHT with the indigo plaid pocket bags, etc. It looks like they might have been part of the Fall /Winter 2019. Hopefully this means you can compare away!

That’s weird. Maybe you got a glitch. The discount doesn’t apply when I put them in my cart :(

Did anyone ever get one of the Chemise Marina polos?
MF has just received their indigo ones and they look nice.

I have a couple.  Kind of a weird fit for me and don’t wear them often...wide shoulders, small tight arms and very boxy shape.  The fabric shrinks and stretches a ton.

Some more pics for you @ecsong187. There wasn't a tremendous amount of leg twist, but I soaked them in pretty tepid water.

This photo is probably the best I can manage trying to capture the true color:

I'm betting there's going to be some serious tate-ochi, as the vertical character of the fabric is really pronounced after the soak:

I'm not sure what to think about the buttons that look more like they're dusted in pollen than oxidized.

Yea I have the same buttons on my OG Cone pair. It’s weird and chips off really easily. Not sure if the silver will patina over time or not?

@Smallrod I think the fabric is terrific; soft, smooth, and super interesting without being showy. I found the MF size charts to be pretty accurate for both pre/post soak. I'm a size 36 in Canes, Momos, TCB, etc., but I sized down to a 34 with this pair based upon the charts. As long as there's an inch of stretch over time, a 35-inch waist usually works pretty good for me. I was betting that the Cone on these would stretch, which it has. Also, I have pretty big calves; I think the other Lot. 64s would have been too narrow at the knee for me, but this particular Lot was cut more generously.

Pre-soak / Post-soak

W: 18.5" / 17.5"

FR: 13.25" / 12.5"

BR: 16.75" / 16"

Th: 13.25" / 13"

Kn: 10" / 9.5

Hem: 9/5" / 9.25"

Inseam: 36.5" / 34.5"

they used the same buttons on the first iteration of the cali, the 54 (12 oz 70s cone?), the yellow coating on the buttons in my pair can chip if you dig into it with yr nails, but left alone it's still here after all these years (bought them in 2010?), doesn't really come off.

was gonna include a pic but the bbcode column on my imgur has gone awol. if any of you can tell me how to make it reappear i'll post the pic.

With 30% discount I really wanted to get a pair of jeans from the Utility Dungarees section and ended up with the Bosco Pants, which already discounted so with delivery I got them for about 150!

Gave them a good soak and they’re still pretty crispy after drying.

Please excuse the casual footwear but they hug my feet nicely.

So I ran back through all the pages to 2015 before asking and didn't find any information. Has anyone here owned the 654 jeans? I'm in the market for a slimmer classic cut similar to FC 0105. Size charts all look good for a 31 for me. I own the 0105 in 30. Everything lines up, but I was hoping for some first-hand experience with shrink, stretch, impressions of the fabric, etc. I'm looking for simple and classic with a less boxy fit than my Devi's and TCB, something to keep clean for dark jeans and dressier fits. Currently my only fresh pair of jeans is the Roy RS01 upsized for an extra boxy fit. Any thoughts and impressions of the fabric and fit on the 654 would be welcomed.

Aren’t the Lot 654 the same pattern/fit as the Lot 64?

No, they are a bit different. They blend some elements of the Lot 54 and Lot 64 patterns together, hence Lot 654. As far as fabric, I didn't see anyone talking about that particular 12 oz. Cone in reference to any of the Lot 64s being talked about. I vaguely remember seeing it at the store and if memory serves, it's a beautiful, vibrant red caste indigo similar to some of the best 50s LVC fabrics.

I see - I always thought both jeans were the same pattern, so I thought you could reference the 64 to further your query.

Those are pretty wild, not something I'd ever wear personally but I'm sure you'll pull them off.
Also looks like there's a preview of the F/W collections but it's password protected. <_<
Interested to see where "Truckstop" goes.

remember, I had in late seventies Levi's from very similar fabric ... they faded in exposed parts to white ... but I was young and treated my jeans much harder at those times ... B)

Oh that light blue is hideous but they remind me of a pair of Levis I had from the 70’s and bring back fond recollections of Saturday at the Roller Rink. I think they were much wider at the hem (cuff) back then.

Have you thought of which shirts you will pair them with? Could be a really cool look.

I think they would be great with many patterns/colors of vintage rugby shirts, especially once they start fading in areas.

Maybe with some Stan Smiths.
