He said he wore them for a month if I remember right, and I gave them a couple weeks of wear and one wash before deciding they weren’t for me either, even though the fabric and details are really nice, just into wider cuts now.

I bought these lightly used from Japan maybe ten years ago and gave them about 3-4 months of wear, a handful of washes and quite a short hem as an experiment with a particular look that I decided ultimately wasn’t for me. Notable arc deterioration and some wear on rear pockets but otherwise no exceptional fading. Gorgeous, soft denim, easily among the most comfortable I’ve ever worn at any stage of wear.

Oni 246 Natural Indigo Modern Straight, size 33, selvedge denim jeans. Worn about 3 months. Whiskers and combs are barely starting to set in. Some fading at the knees and hems. No nicks, cuts scratches, etc. I find this to be one of the best pairs of jeans Oni has ever made. The details are classic and simple, very well thought out. The denim is fabulous - loose weave with a great texture that's not too rough. They are a size too small for me. Would love to score another pair in a size bigger, but they are no longer made.

I don’t mind as long as the sales pitches are kept out of the brand threads.

In answer to your question.. I’d guess that the vast majority of sufu members who post in superdenim never visit the larger forum.. they have no interest in sufu beyond the denim aspect so with their reluctance to venture outside, a sales thread away from this board wouldn’t be used..

I don’t think it’s a great loss.. I get the feeling that nothing is selling here... or any other places unless it’s hyper rare or hyper cheap, markets saturated.
