  1. It’s been done by Dior Homme. They had a 21cm, 19.5cm, and a 17.5cm cut (if I recall correctly). Not a denimbro label but still a brand that got plenty of airtime on SUFU ca. 2008. That said, I can’t vouch for whether the leg opening actually was the same across all sizes – I doubt it based on @Duke Mantee’s very accurate observation.
  2. I think of mine as a nice fitting approximation of the 1947 501, not a perfect repro. Can’t help you with W33 sizing – I’m a W31 in all the Warehouse I own. I’m a fan of Warehouse but their streaky/grainy fades are not my preference.

  7. Does anyone have experience with/know much about the 409 type-Big "E”? There is a pair on Mercari in my size (I think) that I'm considering taking a punt on...

  18. @bloom In the waist and the top block my size 31 220a are easily one size larger than my size 31 WH1001X. This is after the 220 have had a hot wash and air dry. A this point, I regret not getting a 30 in the 220a
  19. Forgive the n00b question about the Lot. 220a, but I've seen mixed descriptions from retailers. How does the size of the Lot. 220a compare to Warehouse 1001 sizing? And are they a 40s, 50s, or 60s, (or none of the above) cut?
