Western Australia has no cases at all. We do not care about imported cases as they are from returning citizens and those numbers are irrelevant. Only community spread cases is important as that dictates if a state should shut its borders with other states. all new cases under Australia comes from the damned eastern states of NSW and VIC.

The states with people in them!

...and the ones where the air crews who come in on all of the overseas cargo flights are accommodated – 3,000 people in Sydney at any given time. I think they've done well to keep infection rates as low as they have been all this time; hopefully the current spike is contained...

Thread bumpin with some sad news.. Sheffield's John Lewis (Cole Brothers) has anounced it's closure.

They opened their doors in 1847 and looked like this

Coles Corner has been a famous Sheffield meeting place for young lovers for more than 100yrs, it seems like only yesterday that some redneck cop threatened to "wrap his truncheon around my fucking neck" if i didn't move along when i was stood at said corner meeting my then girlfriend, now wife.. happy memories

Really nice look around your area 00. looks such a great place to live.

And love that you caught Billy Bragg grabbing a quick bite while visiting the north...

He’s returning to his spiritual home of South Yorkshire - he was a miner between the wars you know.

I’ve posted a slew of photos from longer hikes elsewhere around the state & country, but a big part of why I live where I do is how much access there is to nature just outside town

Went for a nice walk this morning before the fog burned off, just around an ~8 minute drive / ~30 minute walk up the hill from my house in one of the regional parks
