   Hi, managed to pay latest Volvo restoration bills and think I can do this. 81 cm  length. How is waist sizing compared competition pair?  Think I'd  like a inch downfromthem.

It's not the same fabric as the tour jeans and Inoue advice is size the same as 50s. I'll ask him again, or maybe just shoot him a message!

I'm still thinking of sizing down one inch from the 50s, but will try and find the pix of me wearing the tour version first - photobucket has, of course, blanked out all my pix in an incident of hosting blackmail so I have to try and download them. Will decide by end of the week. But I am in for definite, someone needs to give you Italians a run for your money.

Here I got a question re 20s. We've known that tcb 20s fabric is relatively heavier than the originals. Does Inoue san modified anything else? The front rise seems abit low for a pair of 20s jeans.

Certainly he adjusted a bit the fit to his liking, which is what everybody is doing as it seems.
Anyway I'll ask and see what he replies.
I am grateful I could rock those jeans and don't have them under my pits, for one!
I have also the WH 1004xx and as much as I love them I couldn't really commit to wear that pair for 18 months straight, because of the rise.

The obvious solution would be that you could choose not only the waist size but rise also in 0.25"-0.5" increments, something like Resolute is doing with inseam lengths. Not going to happen though...
