Chicken, your denim top collection is as sick as your jean collection. I can't wait for you to post your shoe collection. Or book collection, or plant collection…

Sorry for the offtopic but what about your P collection?

Not your typical denim jacket, I'll post a few more pics to show the detailing (blue fading, blue plaid fannel pockets, lining, etc) soon but for now here is how it looks. Not raw (I don't think anyways) but it is fading blue as I mentioned so I felt it deserved to be shared.

Canadian Tuxedo (N&F Red Core, Vintage Denim Shirt cuffed over my denim jacket)

im liking the jacket, whered you get it from?

also where in canada you at?

ok, i need some advice please,

i got a new Samurai S0553XX denim jacket, and have been wearing it pretty hard for daily for three weeks straight here in the early summer weather of NYC.

im a guy that breaks a sweat pretty easy, and the jacket has a bit of underarm funk going on already that i and the wife find not attractive.

without washing,

what would be the best advice to air the funk out?

from advice, i tried throwing it in the freezer for an few hours, but it didn't seem to get it out?

thanks in advance..

Mix vinegar and water in a spray bottle so you get a 12% vinegar solution. Spray it on the funky parts and let it dry. Old-school trick that removes odour.

I work in a theatre costume shop and one of the tricks we use is vodka mixed with water. Spray it on the offending odor and it will subside. Also vinegar and water as as someone else mentioned does well. I've found that no amount of treatment that doesn't involve washing will permanantly remove strong odors and if sweat is allowed to build up over time, even washing will fail to completely remove the odors.

I understand people who try to avoid washing their raw denim stuff since with the first washing all kind of raw denim stuff will change their original raw denim colour in to a normal royal blue colour.

I just use two simple rules:

1, Start break in a new raw denim item at the beginning of the cold season and wear them as long as possible in a nice way.

2. After a long time I downgrade my items for outdoor activities and at the end I use them as work clothes.

That way I can avoid washing my raw denim stuff and can use them a pretty long time for several years until I have to retire them in the Jeansmuseum.
