i think the 007 is actually cut a little roomier than the 005, atleast thats what the measurements from big suggest

Quick question, i got a pair of one wash sz 29 005s back in August of 09. I know they stretch a lot in the waist, but would does it also apply to the thigh? I think the thigh part is what is not allowing me to pull up my jeans fully, giving me the sag look.

BiGs measurements are not all that accurate sometimes. I think in theory at least, the XX-05 and XX-07 are supposed to be the same cut.

The waist stretches out a lot, and the thighs will stretch some as well. After all its the same denim throughout the entire jean. Then again if you can only pull them up to the point of sagging because theyre so tight, they might be too tight.

PBJ only had two cuts, 501-ish and slim/skinny. The 011 makes three.

panda & mlyngard or anyone with the 011/013 cut, does it fix the awkward hip flare that plagues the 05 and 07? I have some pretty new 07s, but the tailor butchered the taper, so that combined with the awkward top block is making me think they'll get no real wear.

there is a new XX-005 dye available - can somebody comment on it? i tried to translate via google, but did not get the whole story. just that it is a new dye.

The bk's are a totally different story... I can attest to the fact that they are a bitch to fade.

the black dye probably penetrates deeper into the yarn thus making them harder to fade

but that is just my take on it

PBJ XX-005, 1 year 2 months, bunch of soaks, some ocean, some with detergent, etc.

Horrible representation of color, but it does show the contrast well.

yes,,, yes,,, now I understand what does these mean

but...

Warp threads are dyed black prior to weaving..

meaning that the fades might be similar to the indigo one, just take longer to fade..

Anyone with xx-007 think the leg opening is kinda wide?

I've been wearing em for 3months no soaks/washes since original shrinking - hasnt really bothered me but i can only wear em with clark dessert boots cause the opening is to wide for chucks and stuff
