@mpukas @lee porter my 32 rfr004 are very very similar to my 33 FH3009:

Both have been washed a fair bit, so the shrink is all gone. The RFR shrank less I think and stretch a tiny bit more, but not a lot. They are beautiful and @Danny @ Rivet & Hide will be spot on with sizing help. The denim has a amazing texture but is somehow still subtle. I'd love a 3005 fit in the same denim...

i also agree with @el padre that the size 32 004 is close in fit to my size 33 3009.  the 004 has slightly more front and back rise and a bit more room in the top block.  best part of it all, the pocket openings are very useable.  basically cant use the front pockets on the 3009 and i have small hands.

Wearing a TFH THC today for the first time in months (probably since last spring or so) and I'd forgotten how perfect these shirts are—has anyone had luck finding any real alternatives? Nothing else I've tried has come close

I copped a pair of RJB x R&H RFR-004 size 34. Should be here next week.

Since I've settled on a cut that has a low- to medium-low rise, straight/relaxed thighs and slight taper from knee to hem, I'm hoarding. I have my eye on a few other pairs from a couple different brands. I really should get a pair of TFH 3009, if I can find a pair, or if they start making them again. Once I get them, and I'm in no rush other than they may sell out, I'll be done. For a while at least.

Long overdue update on my 3005s. Worn 317 days, I think washed about nine times or so? These should hit 365 days in the next few months.

I feel like these have been slow to evolve due to the (relatively) loose fit on me, but I think with another 6-8 months of wear time they'll look great.

Those are beautiful man. I’d really like a pair of 3005’s. Hoping they re stock soon at SE. I still wear my 3009’s but would prefer a looser fit.

Iron Shop Provisions currently has the 3005 in stock. AFAIK they're the only shop in the US that has them in stock. I've been considering ordering a pair, but I'm unsure of sizing.

Thanks for the heads up man I’ll check it out. If you need any sizing tips I’d be more than happy to help. Flat heads pioneer denim shrinks a lot and continues to shrink for a few washes after new. I’m a 34 in ironhearts or roys and a 36 in flatheads.

2 years. I lost count of the washes at this point. I’ve been washing these every 2-3 weeks now because the waistband stretches so easily. This is a tag size 36 but the waistband easily stretches to 39 inches after a few wears which is way too big so I run them though the washer to bring the size back down to a 36.

Yeah I'm 32 in IH and 33 in FH 3XXX, but after a few washes the FH are very snug, 34 would probably work better.... It keeps me honest though

1. Japanese domestic arc design

2. International arc design

3. Looks like number 1 but modified by the owner to look more like Levi's arcuate.

I don't think RJB offers such a cut, the closest would be the collab between Rivet&Hide and RJB, they have a relaxed tapered cut.

Thank you so much! Do you think there is a differrence between them about quality?

I see. Do have the size chart of TFH 3012 and 3202 (or may be just the measurements of size 29, 30, 31). It really hopeless to find it by myself. Btw, IH-555 size 29 fit me nearly perfect (i wish it was higher rise), which size should I get in your opinion?

Here are the measurements from R&H for the 3012
https://rivetandhide.com/the-flat-head-3012-straight-tapered-jeans.html

I would base your sizing on those measurements provided and compare with your IH-555 (a model they also sell) but a size 31 in the 3012 sound about right factoring in the shrinkage.

Here is also the RJB cut I mentioned earlier:

I won't have a chance to take post-soak fit pictures until next week but here are pre-soak pictures of the unsanforized RFR-004 jeans that I got my boyfriend as a gift, it's his first pair of raw denim, trying to turn him into an addict like me!! Will it work?

http://imgur.com/a/WgOJsqW

After soaking, they shrank to the exact measurements of a pair of Levi's 501 that fits him well, except 2 inches longer in the inseam (in the same tag size - 36) which is great, that's why I picked them because the one-wash measurements looked like such a good match on something that already works for him.

for fit reference he's 6'6" and 190ish-200lb I think?  and basically that means we appreciate the roomy knee and roomy lower leg because the "knee" area of most jeans is actually a few inches up his thigh.  I didn't realize that would happen until the first pair of raw denim jeans I tried to buy him that were more tapered, so I returned those and got these instead, we are much happier with these.

If these don't work, you might have to give up...

Pre soak fit looks good, hope he enjoys them - they're beautiful jeans.

Can anybody comment on the differents between RJB line and normal line (the old one, I think TFH make the bigger new one??)  about the fit on their shirt? A local seller told me down size from the normal line when it come to the RJB. Is that true?
