  1. Yesterday I: - assembled fly pieces - attached crotch seam (much more cleanly than the last time I might add) - attached front and back together Test fit is perfect too. Added some ease for my thighs and it was a good choice. Also really like how the green serged edges look.

  2. Konaka-san exaggerates more and more...I think that's one of reason Neat Style dropped CSF (some models were so crazy, you couldn't even use the coin pocket anymore)

  3. Just seen this post on Bear's lg showing the reintroduction of the 1933 model. That cinch strap looks to have travelled south again, looking more like a Lee buckle strap placement now 😅

  7. Unlikely he did anything to the hardware, I’ll ask him. I’ll check my pair too, it’s been years since I wore or looked at them.

  11. I think of mine as a nice fitting approximation of the 1947 501, not a perfect repro. Can’t help you with W33 sizing – I’m a W31 in all the Warehouse I own. I’m a fan of Warehouse but their streaky/grainy fades are not my preference.

  15. At last my CSF 1941 s409xxx model have finally been hemmed so they can now return to the rotation of jeans of which l enjoy wearing. @Mr Black did an outstanding job as usual even going so far as to replicate the dual orange/yellow stitching on the original hems. Photos show Og hem off cuts compared to freshly sewn new hems. Compared to the other pair l have (1944 s409xxx) these are much darker but my modern camera phone just can't capture it, even under cloudy skies. Probably due to my lack of understanding of modern phones but anyway you get the general idea.

  19. @julian-wolf sorry for the very late reply. I don't connect much to the internet lately. I must say the other members have already given good advice (particularly that of Cucoo imo). I can't tell you much about Liguria cause I was there a long time ago. if you have some time to visit Umbria is another beautiful region in the italian hinterland where you get amazing food and a lot of small medieval villages which are usually not overrun by tourists, unlike for example Tuscany or Lazio. Basically every single region in Italy offers his typical kind of foods which are different from the other regions and man it would be worth try them all. prepare to put on some weight. Venice, Milan, Turin, Florence, Rome, Naples, Palermo are just a few cities to mention which are all worth spending a few days in. but there are many others, the town I live in (Verona) for example is a small and nice city constantly packed with tourists. history is everywhere. Greeks, romans, middle ages and so on. The southern regions have a warmer climate and in April you can already find summer temperatures. In Sicily i absolutely recommend you visit Palermo and its markets where you can find all the local products. All of Puglia is beautiful, land and people. I didn't give you detailed informations, I know, but trust me, wherever you go you will find something interesting to visit and, hopefully, good people. I hope you will have a good time here and if you need any further information don't hesitate to write to me here, I will check more often now. cheers! Ale

  21. Found a new old stock example of my 25-year-old, completely thrashed moto jacket for 10 bucks on a local marketplace. It's nearly identical except it is a size 40 and my old is sized 38. Now I need to figure out how to repair the original.
