denim belt is dope! i might treat my self to one of those...

according to the BiG site the 1001xx denim has the oxidation. but all of their denim might have it, for all i know. here is a quote: ''With the 1001XX they set out to create a jean that would look, feel, and wear like an old dead stock pair of jeans going as far as to create an oxidization process that aged the newly woven denim to give it similar characteristics.''

setterman, i can't wait for your 15 aniversary evo in a few months! embrace the fur!!!

after a 5 day soak i sprayed them down with a hose, and threw em in a drier for 1.5 hours. the long-soak did NOTHING to the denim, or the precious indigo, nor did the hardware rust...

Damn...I can't find the exact quote right now, but I do recall various Japanese sources that say otherwise (in regards to the 1001XX using oxidizing agent)...Of course, it's Gordon's word over my translations but I'll peruse to verify...

EDIT:

Alright so far I've found one source that clearly states no oxidizing agent....None other than a writeup by Lightning:

http://www.sideriver.com/lightning/special/vol01_2.html

酸化剤は使わず、ムラ糸本来の質感を生かした毛羽立ち感はヴィンテージのようだ

I bolded the important part (here is my poor translation):

Without the use of oxidizing agent, the fluffy/hairy feeling making use of the naturally uneven/irregular thread is vintage like.

EDIT2: Add to that Hinoya!

特徴的な仕様: 酸化剤を使わず、ムラ糸本来の質感を生 かした毛羽立ち感は

まるでヴィンテージの雰囲気

What else can you spot?

I don't see my beloved 1004XX re-make but a few interesting Billiken cinch models seem to be in the works...Also fiending for that WWII model...

Good stuff Aho, you must be like me....checking the Warehouse Blogs everyday.

1105 model Warehouse produced back in the 2001ish was based on Levi's 505 model with zipper fly.

The WWII looks very interesting. I wonder if its the same denim as 1001XX.

Snake, we seem to share the same passion in the Warehouse brand, you know me all too well...;)

That supposed WWII model looks like fire...I'm wondering if it's the same 1001XX denim as well, although from the pictures it's hard to tell, almost seems more 1000XX-like though. Wonder if we'll get the laurel wreath button's as well (unlike 700S classic model)?

Florian, i cant stop staring at those pictures! (it helps there are two reasons)

not really interested in that 1105 model (i don't like zip fly's) but WWII model might be something to pick up! no sign of a 1004 model though... (sorry, ill go sit quietly in a corner and sob)

I seem to have developed the same type of obsession ; checking the warehouse blogs every day (actually first thing I do at work)

well, to degrade myself i have taken the time and torture to post my own one months wear WH700s after the great florian's grail pair. this can be qualified as self sadistic behavior...i finally hijacked my aunt's decent camera...then the battery died as i was getting rear pics...more soon.. please pay no mind to the dates, you can see where i removed the belt loops

I'm going to Warehouse in Daikanyama tomorrow to pick up my 15th 1001XX. After reading the last few pages here today, I'm more excited abouth these than before.

Did you pick up the 1001XX? And also, did you see any more info on the future releases? Wasn't sure where they were holding the exhibition...

this is to show how paltry and inadequate i am in comparison to florian...warehouse 700 about 30 or so wears, 2 washes. i swear i've been trying to not fade these jeans, no real hard work like previous jeans, just the regular 8 hour gig. 1000xx denim fades just by looking at it.

@erk, i got these when BiG first dropped them since i had just missed the FC contest preorder by a day or two, so i bought a barely worn pair of 1108s for like 90 bucks, and i came into a lil $$$ soon after so i grabbed the WH700s as a back-up/ obvious future wear to death jean while i had the spare $$$ on hand. i wore the FC until the denime contest came up, so the WH have again taken a backseat. they are now pushed even further back in the 'rotation' since word of the eternal 811 contest has reached me. but they fade fast, so they still change even with very light wear. maybe in a few years they will be on florian's level. these are as great as any other jeans i wear, it's just somehow they've become my '' every now and then'' jeans for now. i cut off the belt loops to give them an even older, 1920s-early 1930's steez. i hammered down the rivets for similar effect

fit pics

the waist is rather snug, but the legs are loose, high rise. this is my sister's room, it's a mess so i don't want to hear any blathering and bullshit from that mr. almostnice guy. in the rear pic i got a pack of cigs in one pocket, and a bunch of other shit in the other. i did leave one belt loop just for utility, and because warehouse are the first company to intentionally put the bump in the loops. lil sis used flash so there's more fading than in the other pics. worn with old work boots for rugged effect, but really i've done like 0 work in these.

meader is like the dr. bronner's label. to size these i got a w28, the smallest size gordon offers.he says the upper thigh measurement is the most important and i just wanted something a bit more roomy in the thigh than my w28 fullcounts. i noticed when i hammered the rivets that they aren't solid copper. i guess they are steel inside like the ones on those new skulls at BiG.

yo florian, can we get a pic of the pocket bags? mine haven't faded at all yet except along the ridge of the pocket opening. i'm sure yours have some decent wear by now...

First peak at J.Crew x Warehouse...

Sure wish they'd just release more info on 15th Anniversary releases LOL

Cut is a 800 with lower rise and different color stitching...My thoughts: wtf, the rise on the 800 is what made the cut so great lol but I guess it's good they didn't just steal the 660 cut and slap a "484" label on it. This will no doubt be a loss leader for J.Crew and I look forward to the day when they (hopefully but most likely won't) stop carrying the brand...I'll have bad dreams tonight asking myself, of all brands, why tarnish the Warehouse name? ;)
