Roping tends to be a bit more prominent when you hem while raw. Hemming post-soak ensures that there isn't any funky shrinking.

You can hem jawnz at any local tailor. Usually costs $6-10, depending on where you get it done.

doesnt matter much i think...just do the math >if you hem before soak you gotta take the shrinkage into account so you dont cut off too much

Mine shrunk about one inch in the waist and slightly over 2 inches in the length.

You should soak first, just in case.

Thinking about getting these. Do 2nd offer a hemming service/chain stitch and what size would people recommend? True 34, have a piar of USA in 34 and the cut and shrinkage was perfect (they kept their tagged waist size, if not a a fraction more.?

I'm not sure if they offer chain stitching, it's not really thaaaat big of a deal I don't think. They hemmed my 710's, you just have to tell them length you want taken off in CM.

2nd hemmed my 710x2nd with chain stitching. I specified that I wanted a 34 inseam (and the equivalent in cm).

just a quick question:

would BiG accept a return on a pair of jeans that dont fit but are hemmed? The return policy says no but under the different sizes there's a listing for a 34" hemmed to a 36" inseam so that has me sort of confused

That "king of the road" motorcycle jacket with the "D" pocket at the bottom of the page is bad ass. A little too many buttons and zippers for my taste though.
