I have all three models and I went true to size on 710, 710BK, and 0505XX2 and I sized down 1 on 0500XX for slimmer look.

If you are looking for slim fit, I would recommend s0505XX2. The smallest size available in this model is 28. The smallest size available with BIG is 29.

Regarding 710 in size 28, it will shrink down to tagged size, 28, and the stretching depends on your usage and waist size. I think, if your waist size is around 27.5-28, 710 or 0505XX2 would work out for you.

Ask Gordon (BIG), if he can get size 28 for you in S0505XX2.

They shrank about an inch in the waist, 2 inches in the length, and about a little over an inch almost everywhere else. ill look for before and after fit pics when i get home.

My 710BK, tagged size 33 had pre-soak waist 34" and shrank about an inch.

alright. so i can only get the 0500 as they have it in 26, the waist on that is 2cm too small for me on the japanese size charts post wash. (recommand I go super tight on the waist and break them in? Will they stretch out alright or should i go 27 or other model? :confused::confused::confused:

Looking at the numbers it looks like I should size down for a simlar fit. But that feels dicey.

FWIW I went true to size on the 5000vxs. I also own dukes in 33 that fit well and I sized up on the RJB 19cms and those are slightly too big in the block.

My brand new Samurai s510xx 24oz just arrived. They seem like they'll fit great.

They are crazy. Words cannot describe these "things". It doesn't seem like denim at all.

Photographs will come when I'm not working. I'll have my little brother start the wash on them so I can get fit pictures. Lets hope these babies fit!

yeah i grabbed a pair of them too... someone else on the forum said gordon believed 5 soaks were necessary to get all the shrinkage out... I've only done 2 though... other 3 (and post-wash S510XX AI-N pics) will have to wait until I get back from Hawaii this weekend.

Well if I remember right the 0140xj is a 510 cut so its going to be a relaxed cut. I was actually looking at these myself.

Well it depends on how your built. some people can size down 2 because they have chicken thighs, so it depends on your choice. I would say stick with sizing down one maybe you can never go wrong with true to size,

They are somewhat as hard as levi's STF post soak, going to starting wearing it 24/7 tmrw
