Self timer shot ended up being pretty funny, Camera decided to focus on the couch where my old pair was. So those are in focus and I'm not. Oh well just quick pre soak shots.

I think they'll end up fitting pretty well. Not quite as fitted as my 5000vxes but I'm not sure I could get into a pair of 32s. These 33s I can barely button up as it is so once they soak its gonna be a painful stretch.

Looking forward to it. I may just start mixing them in with My 5000vxes then in like 3 months of everyother day wear just got hard on them for a long while.

Oh and I promise better post soak shots.

If you're talking about mine, then yes. I'm going to sell them. Will probably ask for $275 shipped since they haven't been worn or altered. I paid $310 shipped for them. If that is too much, then I'll probably wait and try to sell them in the new year since the arcs and tabs will be more in demand.

Hide-san told me it's Lot.10. Does the Lot.10 S0500XX have the same "sizing problem" due to misstagging as other Samurai models have?

The 500's I got from BIG in July are Lot 12. They were TTS from what I could tell.

so BiGs measurements charts are off then?! the tagged size 33 is listed as 35" and Gordon said they'll shrink to tagged size..mhh...

What do you guys think of this jacket? It's 10oz. I would like it in a raw version better but this still looks pretty cool imo. Anybody have one that can post pics or comment? Thinking about picking it up with some 21 oz 5000's when they come in.

i have sized down 2 for s5000vx before, lot 10, tagged 30, measured 30 after soak, stretched to 32 at the waist, unfortunately too tight everywhere else (i have big legs)

I'm trying to get to the bottom of this: The S0500's I got from 2nd 2-3 months ago were lot 10. I had bought the same jeans from BIG two years ago (also lot 10), and these felt soft in comparison. They also didn't stand up after soaking (like the pair from BIG did) and they didn't shrink one inch - fit the same pre/post soak.

The S0500's from 2nd are either one wash or some kind of Japanese version different from the model that BIG carries.

Anyone else have this kind of issue?

^^Also, if anyone has the Denim Style Book #2, look at the new pair of S0500's pictured in the Samurai section - They're all wrinkled up - most def a one wash pair. I'll bet the S0500's 2nd is selling are the same deal.

I'm from Toronto as well, if you get a package that is $60 gift or less, then you don't pay customs.

they do mark down, i was an idiot, i only asked them to mark down a bit and mark as gift... i had to pay a bill for customs, im from toronto as well.

tell them to mark it down to 60 and im pretty sure they will.

I brought a pair of 5000xv 21oz lot 12 from 2nd in a size 34 and when I got them the measured raw a size 32. Its no biggie because they will stretch out to a 34 I hope.

^^^^ Uhhhh. I doubt it. They will most likely stretch to a 32, but they won't stretch to a 34 waist if that is what you are lookin for.

theyll go to a 33 and maybe a 34 when you wear them tight and you do more crouching but the thigh part will be hard to stretch out

so it sounds 2nd sells one-wash. if you bought size 34 and they measured 32 it's sure one-wash.

pulled the trigger on S0500XX through Hide-san. Now it's waiting...but with the Denime contest ahead the Sams wouldn't probably get much wear

shiet I emailed 2nd to confirm the lot 12s size 32 I wanted measured 34 in the waist presoak and they confirmed it. I just got the jeans and they measure 32 presoak. Looks like lot 12 is the same as lot 10 in sizing?
