Thanks Mr. Haga, my true waist is almost 34 and I bought a 32 in these. after soaking I wet the waist and squeezed them on and now they fit just fine.

those look mad baggy for being sized down ~1. doesn't look bad at all, i just suspect that they haven't shrunk all the way. if i were you, i'd throw them thru a hot wash and either hang dry or tumble dry for 10-15 minutes.

I want to order a pair of s0500xx from 2nd but I am somewhat concerned about the sizing. I am basing my sizing decision on BIG's chart but Rome1 recently noted that is 710x2nd was slimmer than the measurements on BIG. Now, that could be due to it being a collab. anyway, my question is should a 31 from 2nd measure roughly the same prewash as the 31 @ BIG?

I ordered my 0500's from 2nd and they were spot on with measurements from BiG... I think the 710's are a little slimmer due to the fact that they are a collab jean.

Yea same for me. Mine were right on with the measurements from BIG.

What I found strange is they feel a lot softer and less rigid than the ones I had bought from BIG a year ago. Not sure why this is - less starch, or maybe they were washed?

my friend is a big boy, kick your ass any day. its a size 38 on him. only thing that can fit his waist. probably coulda squeezed into a 36 but woulda been too tight on his legs so im not too sure he oversized. they look better in person.
