Guest doubletap

are those 17 year cicadas? we had our cicadas in northern VA 2 years ago, that shit was crazy, it was even featured on Discovery's Planet Earth as the largest animal infestation. Our joints were more of a redish/brownish color though.

djrajio - you clean up real nicely, not that your previous efforts were at all sloppy. Oozes fatal charm.

78 - I've warmed up to your fits over time, where I now look forward to them. Well done teetering the balance of swagger + nuance.

the above posters are class all the way - sf icons.

I agree with the smaller knot...

Spread collars kinda prohibit trying a much smaller knot unless you want to throw the balance off, which is not something to do in a convervative dress environment. By the way, are these roped shoulders?

i agree, i'm not talking about skinny tie small knot, a single knot would have been suffice. not up on my tie lingo as of late...

The shoulders look a little too built up (or maybe it's the roping?) for my taste but it could be the position you're in. I also agree that the knot is too large/wide. If that's a full-windsor, try a semi-windsor instead. I'd also say that the tie is way too long since it appears to be covering your belt buckle. Either way, my comments are very nitpicky. You definitely look sharp.

Definitely advocate a smaller knot. A thinner tie half-windsor or even a four-in-hand could make your very traditional look slightly more sophisticated. Beautiful suit though...Is it MTM from the Richard James store on Saville Row?
