Momotaro 0901 size 32, worn on and off since 2015 (when I had them tapered slightly). They’ve been my dog walking jeans for the last 2 winters and are now heading for the bin as the crotch is falling apart, having already been repaired. I’ve really enjoyed this pair and at 15.7oz, they’re the heaviest weight jeans I’ve owned.

^ I have a brand new raw pair of those in a 33, stashed away for probably the same amount of time. I'd honestly forgotten about them – they'd be a little snug in the waist and no doubt need hemming (I seem to recall they had an unfeasibly long inseam), but maybe I can make them work. Nice job!

My recent trip to Japan yielded an obscene amount of jeans, at least enough to weather a 15-year storm, so I figured I needed to repurpose some pairs for summer so that I could still wear most of them, giving them the attention they deserve. These are my momotaro 0405-v  15.7oz

no battle stripe and exactly how I like it.

this pair is a size 33W my more relaxed pair. I also have the exact pair in a 32W which still fit but a bit more snug in the waist. One tip I will give anyone with momotaro is the waist barely stretch more than 1cm and that’s pushing it. If u are stuck between two size go for the bigger one. As u can always wear a belt if needed. I soaked these once before wearing as u can still keep the rigid feeling without walking around in stiff cardboard feel.

i am just below 5 10 and weigh 12.5 stones

Momotaro look like they are heading a new direction. On their official website the current line is updated with new leather patch not the classic peach boy logo, the buttons are different and the denim cuts are more modern. I didn’t see a single pair that has a similar cut to the current stuff.

cant say that I’m impressed.
