Yo guys never been able to buy a nice boot (poor college status only affords jeans not both) and was wondering if this jcrew boot that I can get for 150 is worth it? http://www.jcrew.com/browse/single_product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441764891&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302023775&nav_type=SEARCH&bmUID=jBychrR

like i said its an entry level boot, I know there are a bunch of nicer versions but this is exactly my pricepoint. Should I pull the trigger or wait and save?

what's going on y'all. quick question about buying a pair of jeans. i'm in a dilemma. i am in between getting a pair of apc new standards and the momotaroxcontext collaboration (http://www.contextclothing.com/item.php?id=3288). tried both on and both felt great. however, the momotaro jeans are almost twice the price of the apc's but undoubtedly much better denim. never had denim that heavy before, but i think i have gotten enough practice in to know what i'm doing (nudies and imperial dukes, respectively). i really just want some insight on what i should do?!?

Want something to rotate with my APC NS... similar fit but better quality/heavier denim would be nice. Looking to spend no more than $250. Any suggestions guys?

you might like some of the left field chelseas or greasers or tellason's john graham mellor in 14.75oz. both around 200. both great jeans. the imogene + willie barton fit is worth checking out too. all three of those use a little bit darker denim that will rotate nicely with apc's greyish tint. there's a ton of options beyond those three.

In the market for some dry black denim.

N&F weirdguy solid black selvedge (http://www.nakedandfamousdenim.com/collection/men/weirdguy/solid-black-selvedge.html)

Or

Nudie grim tim black ring (http://shop.nudiejeans.com/en/product/2130/org-black-ring)

?

I expect the nudies to have a nicer fit, but i love me some n&f selvedge.

Currently wearing a NFxONI collab that is turning out amazing. I'd like a second pair to rotate with and will upgrade to something much higher quality than NF. At this point, I'm strongly considering either Flat Head's BSP, Momotaro's 0705sp, or PBJ xx-011. I'd prefer to cuff them and would like a leg opening as narrow as possible - the Momo's don't appear to fit my bill but I can get a new pair for over $100 cheaper.

My inseam is 29-30 with stacking/cuffing which ends up being closer to the knee measurement than leg opening with many japanese brands.

Fit >>> Brand/Selvedge details for me. I'd pick the Nudies if they look better on your frame.

I don't like either, to be honest with you. But I think if I had to choose one, I'd go with the second and just forgo the white socks.

Can I ask what you don't like about them? Too skinny? Right now I wear a pair of Levi's 511s and I feel like they're too loose on my frail little frame.

I was thinking of getting the Oni or Momotaro Naked and Famous collars.

Which one?

I like the Oni's denim a lot more, but it only comes in a 33 inseam, so if you're tall they'll probably be too short. I probably would have ordered the Oni's already if not for the short inseam.

I just bought a pair of Banana republic heritage selvage denim jeans this weekend while out of town. The Internet says they are from raw cotton and wears with age. But has no other info, weight type of denim Etc. Has anyone tried these jeans? They feel very rigid and have cool selvage details. I've ordered 3 different pair of raw denim jeans online guessing at my size and fit. In this situation I liked the fact that I could try them on.

Any feed back is appreciated. Once I break them in I'll let everyone know what I think!!!
