For any London based posters on here, The Hideout in Soho had a few McCoys sweats for sale at £87. If you don't mind the big graphic on the front, it's a pretty good deal.

can anyone point out the differences from the MJ13116 (1913 us navy peacoat) and the MJ10116 (1930 us navy peacoat)?

1913 Pea Coat feature a slightly taller silhouette and extra front flap pockets.

1936 Pea Coat is shorter and only has two front slash pockets.

 

I think the silhouettes are also not the same. They are based on the original specs.

Just as a note, the 906 is not like the 614 at all (as described). The two silhouettes are completely different, but I guess SD is not known for their accuracy.

Just ordered some of the loop wheeled tees from Vintage Paradise.

Went with the grey and navy, can't wait for them to arrive.

The texture of the fabric in the pictures looks awesome.

Alright, so I just got the tees in and they're pretty sweet.

The fit is just right and the fabric is interesting.

On the outside it is very regular and soft to the touch, while the inside is a bit more irregular.

These tees are very very soft, it's pretty great.  And the weight is just right, not too heavy or thin.

These rank up there with Tezomeya and TFH tees.

I'd love to try out some Strike Gold tees but I'm afraid the sizing might be too small for me.

I could stand to lose a little bit to shrinkage, probably just a cold wash and hang dry.

Maybe just a hand wash if they shrink considerably.

A question about the sweatshirts:

There is a lot of mixed information about which sweatshirts are loopwheeled and which aren't. Using the Real Mccoy's website and google translate if found out that the "military sweatshirt": http://www.superdenim.com/prodpage.asp?productid=2896

Can someone confirm?

The only model currently in production that is loopwheeled is MC1311--> the first on you linked

its part of the Joe McCoy line though. The military sweats in general are not loopwheeled. IMO having owned the ballpark, the loopwheeled, and the non loopwheeled military sweats: The non loop wheeled are better in frankly every way. The cut is more flattering, the material is heavier, and it retains its shape better. Loopwheeled is cool but it is not highest quality.

Thanks for the info—I've only ever tried the Ballpark and the military sweats, and I wasn't sure how that LW one stacked up.

Real McCoy and most of the Japanese retailers refer to this tee as "loopwheeled"...

I didn't measure my two tees before but I just washed them, but I can compare them to the measurements that BiG has posted for the white tee to see the shrinkage as well.

Wow, I was actually unsure whether to go with M or L. Mostly leaning towards M honestly. As I said, don't have much reference, but I suppose the japanese sizes are a little smaller?

 

How heavy is 12oz in a hoodie btw? Thinking it might be slightly thick for layering under a leather jacket or denim jacket.
