Ok, here goes.

SDA SD-100, W36

Gold standard™ method 

Waist, flat, aligned, pulled a bit but not overly : 17"
Top thigh, full width : 13"
Thigh at 3" from crotch : 12"
Leg at 13" : 9.5"
Front rise : 11.5"
Back rise : 16¼"
Inseam : 33"
Hem : 8.5"

So, more or less as described it would seem, half way between the SD-108 and the SD-101. They aren't exactly what I would consider tapered, if anything I would say 'regular straight'  to borrow the term we see across some brands.

The measurements are near perfect for me - I anticipate the waist giving up an inch or so (it needs to  ), but the top block overall is good, the rise is perfect, neither too low nor overly high.

I would perhaps shave a half inch off the knee and hem and give it to the thigh for a more truly tapered cut, but these will do me the next few years at any rate.

Them being war model makes me wary. Pocket depth is an issue in war models i've found.

Good to see a bit of interest in SDA again, I like my SD-100 so much I’m considering a second pair to stash away for the future, something few other jeans have really ever had me thinking of doing.

i should get a fit pic up, though noting that I tend to prefer my clothing probably a looser fit than most would consider as ‘fitting’ here.

I dont necessarily size up for comfort, but smaller fitting def feels uncomfortable..

Those SD100 in my size (31-32) look very close to my Resolute 710 (33).. tempted.

My girlfriend surprised me for Valentines Day with this SDA 4482 "Kasezome" sashiko jacket that I've been looking for since 2020. This jacket was one of my first exposures to the Japanese workwear/clothing sphere in 2020. I came across this jacket on reddit while researching a pair of APCs I found at a thrift store and fell in love. I missed the chance to buy it and have spent the last ~5 years trying to track one down. Finally, not one but two popped up on eBay this winter. Unfortunately, I had just returned from Japan so my clothing budget was low. I was pretty bummed, but luckily my girlfriend ordered it for me as a surprise! Absolutely stoked on how it fits, its exactly what I imagined.
