As way of update on this... the SDA100 I found to be like Fullcount 1108 with a smidge more room in the top block. 

The 107 was a favourite of mine when I was much younger,  till the low rise and tight top block could not hold back the years... now with the higher rise and a little more room up top are back in rotation. They are almost identical to Resolute 710 which is a good for me.

I'm still a bit confused about this.
I had seen somewhere that the measurements of say the SD 101 indicate a higher rise now.
But on SDA's site- which seems to have been relaunched recently- the front rise for the 36 for instance is still 28cm:

How do they differentiate between the older version and the new one?

Or is this the new series?

G3 SDA are different to.the standard SD1.... line. 

If you refer to Denimio,  via the blog post, it links to both the original models and the new revised models. 

I found the measurements of the new models to be accurate.
