I played some basketball in my jeans yesterday, it was humid and toasty so I bled my knees.  I kicked that ass though!

I'd be getting touch with Anders and see what he suggests. He may fix them for you

Anders is a totally cool guy and really stands behind Steel Feather and it's quality. Reach out to him, i'm sure he'll do whatever he can to make things right.

I have been in touch with Anders and he will send me a replacement zip. Just need to find a tailor who will do a good job. Thanks Anders.

Anders Helseth, on 01 May 2013 - 9:02 PM, said:snapback.png

Send me a PM with your address and I will send out a replacement zipper for you ASAP. This zipper will be slightly different but from the same Japanese brand of zippers. It will all add to the flavour, and you will get an even more unique pair of jeans. Get in touch with Danny and he should be able to help you out when it comes to tailor and such.

Happy to help resolve your issue, and looking forward to seeing you rocking your new Waldes zipper!

Kind Regards

Anders Helseth

Thanks heaps mate i will do! Cant wait to have the new Waldes zip on, seen on their website they have some cool zips. I still think you should have a zip on the new steel feathers (seen photos of the new ones with button holes), i need all the help i can get in the toilet ha ha. It makes these jeans STEEL FEATHERS  :D

Ok lets to the point. Yesterday i did some "stupidity of impulsiveness", cut off/hemming my inseam length from 32" to 31". And the the resuls is very ugly, its too short and i dont like the fit

so, i change my jeans to unbranded 121/skinny fit 21oz bnwt, fresh from the store, size 29 (upsize one from my truesize) but i still counted as a contenders with 1 month effective wear as my oldblueco heavyweight jeans.

i will posts my jeans tomorrow (hmmmm, let's count it as an update for my jeans's progress)

p.s : it has been confirmed by Mega

I'm glad this is a marathon not a sprint...I'm just seeing the first bit of fading on my MBBs. I've got solid creases behind my knees, and the whiskers are just starting to show, but only in direct sunlight. There's some fading where my pocket knife rides, but that's hardly interesting. Being limited to after work/weekend wear is going to cost me, but I figure my dc4001s looked halfway decent after a year of the same wear, these should be great after two.

I like 'em low and loose man, worker style  ;)

Edit: Mainly because I'm too old and fat, and not pretty enough to wear then high and slim  :(

I figured it might be helpful for those contemplating another belt order to have all the relevant info in front of them again. It can be found in its original context on pages 10 and 13. Cheers!

HWDC Belt Samples

Ok, here we go with the leather and buckle options. The only things not pictured are the double pronged buckles, but they are basically a double pronged version of what you see here. If anyone wants any more/ better pictures taking of anything, I will endeavour to do so, and attempt to find correct lighting.

-The price of the belts is $100 shipped to HWDC contestants, and $120 shipped to none contestants. To pre-order you must pay 50% of the price up front, as I cannot afford to secure your order with my own money.

-The pre-order period begins on Monday the 14th of January, and ends on Monday the 28th of January, which is exactly 2 weeks.

-I am hoping that the belts will be ready to ship at the same time as the MBB's, and I am 99.9% sure that they will be, if not a little sooner.

-If you have ordered MBB's, and would prefer to have them shipped together, that is not a problem, unless you are in Asia, your MBB's will despatch from TSS in Singapore, and your belt will ship from the UK.

-To order (and this is the very important part), you must do the following.

* Make payment to [email protected] via paypal, stating Your name, Forum Name, Belt options, Delivery Address, HWDC number (if you have one), and waist size in the payment notes.

- If you choose the natural "Russet" leather, please be aware that it is not treated at all, and is more stretchy than the other options.

-When ordering your belt, remember to order the measurement of your jeans rather than your waist. The safest thing to do is measure an existing belt which fits you well. The measurements of your custom order are your responsibility, and no refunds will be given for inaccurate measurements on your part.

Last weekend I had a few of my favorite things. Crawfish, a huge thunder storm, moonshine cherries,

Naked and Famous denim, then barking spiders.

Also feeling a 2" double prong for my second belt, London Tan is calling me this time I think.

HC-SF-57 checking in at the one month mark. Some evo going on although it's not sticking on the photos.

Glad to see some roping has started to show since I usually go with a doublecuff. It's not as pronounced all over as it is next to the inseam though, but promising!
