I did photos for a friend,but this is a simple photo (like a portrait),focus on the jeans is not accented.Currently he lives in Germany,he promised me to find these photos,however not earlier than a month.Most likely the performance will be weak,but it's at least something.It turns out that with these jeans. acquainted only me and my friend.

I started off the journey with Nudie jeans and stumbled across the mynudies forum. That got me really interested in denim and eventually led me onto the world of Japanese denim. All of my mates in real life think I'm mental for dropping £239 on a pair of jeans by an obscure brand no one has heard of. I'm sure that resonates with a lot of the posters on here!

Currently rotating:

Warehouse 800 (my first decent pair bought from Blue in Green)

UES 400t (bought online from Rivet and Hide)

Warehouse 1101 (bought online from Warehouse japan)

I should try to focus on wearing the 3 pairs above more (I wear a suit to work) but I'm constantly looking out for the next pair.

Templed by the Fullcount 1101 as they have a high rise and taper that I usually prefer.

Sold off any and all excess before my daughter was born in 2013. Lost a handful but they hadn't been worn and I don't really miss 'em. Then I got too fat and just wore STF for a while cause babies aren't cheap but I'm back in the game now.. All in on the 60's right now, the Okis will get rotated back in soon and I have my eye on something new. 

 

My brain won't let me accumulate a stock pile of jeans, I seem to purge my personal belongings (not just jeans) every few years. That doesn't mean I'm not jealous looking at some of the collections here though! Great stuff everybody.

I'm the same way; I start building up too much of anything and it starts to kind of give me a sort of anxiety. It always feels nice to get back to basics, hence why I'm in the process of paring down. Personally, I think a smaller collection begets better appreciation and focus on what you have on hand as well.

3Sixteen ST-120x - owned since December 2014. Main jeans at the moment, currently at 10 months' wear. Will move on to the next pair after these hit a full 365 days of wear.

 

3Sixteen RH15 - Next jeans I'm wearing, slated to start in about mid-October.

 

3Sixteen ST-44x - don't wear these all that often. They fulfill my need for beige-colored pants.

 

Samurai S710xx - Since June 2012. About seven months of actual wear. Not really worn anymore.

 

Dawson Regular Fit - Haven't really worn these since I stopped wearing engineer boots.

 

Levis 510 prewash - oldest jeans I own, bought in fall 2008. Sometimes I wear these with summery outfits since they're a uniform light wash.

Along the lines of what others have been saying, I've become wary of having too many jeans--it easily becomes overwhelming. At the same time, once a pair has a certain amount of wear on it it becomes difficult to sell. A lot of those pairs have ended up going to friends, and it's been great to see them getting worn in and appreciated by a new person, especially someone who isn't quite as concerned with fit or details as some of us might be. In any case, the idea of a large collection is enticing in its own right, and it's cool to look through everyone else's denim libraries, especially to see those pairs that aren't otherwise worn or shared on here.
