You won't be able to avoid customs (unless you live in Canada, then there are no customs charged from Switzerland) 

You can call customs brokerage to give them a tariff code so that you can reduce the sting (I went from 30% to 10%), but still expect to pay if you want your package to be released 

For DS pants the code I used was 6203.43.1190

looking at the photos, it seems the new p24a-ds, p24a-s have added phone pockets in the cargo pockets. (for a total of 4 phone pockets)

i believe that's the only change from the og versions

good find, I did a very accurate comparision and they are basically the same.

I colorcoded them so you can tell which is which. Red is ACRNM, blue is UF PRO.

That's really cool actually, now I can carry all my 4 phones at once.

For the resemblance to UF-PRO - that makes sense, most of the Acronym pants are based on already existing pants (p10 are motorbike pants, p23 are also based on some military pant from the past).

I'm really enjoying the wonderfully vague and erroneous contributions to this thread at the moment. I believe the P23 pants you refer to were originally created by an underground organization called The Guerrilla Group back in the late 1950s. The military saw the incredible potential for using these on the front lines of the cold war and consequently became standard issue in several countries including Guatemala and the non-existent (at the time of use) East Timor. It was only recently that the infamous playboy, Erlsn Hughes, saw the potential in these utilitarian trousers and re-purposed them, but with a twist. stotz generally patinas quicker than the other fabrics. people will say to embrace it unless you don't want to wear them as hard.

Yeah stotz fading is a charm of the fabric. Especially if you're getting military style pants, they will look even better worn in. 

I have a pair of p10s from this season I wear weekly and haven't noticed any fading so far. So take that as you will.

P10-S fade/patina is 43.678% of the aesthetic appeal.

Personally i think the RAF holds it's colour better and eventually patinas much nicer than the black.
