Very valid point, and I appreciate your integrity. If they wanted the general public to have a taste, they'd post previews in a public space. I think it's worth stating that, given the speed with which the items sell out, the leaks have become integral to the purchasing decision (although that's probably overstating the importance). I think many have relied on this as the only way to make an informed decision on what they actually want to purchase. But, this point is slightly devalued now that items tend to sit in store for longer. Can I ask, if you don't support leaks, why comment on what you've seen? Surely this just fuels the behaviour?

Not off topic at all I've got a feeling that the white circle is just the cut in the label material reflecting in bad lighting/over exposure, but might be wrong.

This is the exact advice I was after, thank you @thatslapz (and @saskey for driving it out!) Does the first gen also have a dual zipper so that it can be zipped to the top and then unzipped from the bottom? None of the images that I've found for the first gen show this functionality...

Thanks @deathrazr... Any chance that you could give a measurement of the actual garment, just to confirm against the Firmament measurements?
  20. lopiteaux

    Acronym.

Thanks @eyesolation. I have conflicting measurements from END, with the 58/61cm for the L/XL, respectively. One of the Sellers has echoed these measurements, so I'm pretty confused. The Firmament measurements also seem overstated... I expect the cut to be tighter than the J28-GT, which has a 62/65cm 1/2 chest for L/XL, respectively. Any thoughts? Would someone that actually owns one be able to confirm?

Could someone please help me out with the 1/2 chest measurements for the J1B-S (at the least, L and XL)? Looking to pull the trigger, but getting conflicting information from Sellers, END and other sources...

FYI, I've received a Black Friday discount code -- "BLACKTHANKS" -- from The Bureau Belfast. They've still got a few pieces left, although not sure if the code applies to ACRONYM as they state "certain items excluded".

To be clear, my statement was that there were plenty of aggressive designs. Yes, this year included plenty of iterations of fan favourites, but as @chaosen pointed out, this is what a lot of people, myself included, appreciate about the brand. I don’t own the original X-Pac iteration, so can’t compare, but unless I’m missing something I’m pretty sure the functionality is unimpaired (the pockets are most certainly still there). As for the price - this is a much debated topic this year, and I’m not sure what value there is in repeating what’s already been said. Yes, it’s more expensive. Yes, we still keep buying. And to be honest, I’m happy that I have more time to decide, to discuss it properly, to let it grow on me, and to make a decision. I feel that the higher price point has made me a more conscious consumer, and I appreciate that, whether inadvertent or not. Regarding the modulars… I agree that the release has been a little underwhelming, but I feel that there is a theme in the use of less aggressive colour contrasts and materials. I probably won’t end up keeping any of the modulars, but that does not make it an inferior product. I do not need to like and/or purchase every single item that they release in order to respect the brand, what they do, and how they do it. I know that that can branded as naïve idolisation, but don’t really care. You could argue that neither the J69 nor P22 were “hits”, as they’re still sitting on the racks, but I love them both.
