Another rant, but on me getting screwed on Reversible(ish):

Found this listing of p38  on reversible from user dcl_max .
After contacting him, he asked for direct payment with Alipay. Due to all feedback that he had on reversible page + eBay link and that he also on Sufu forum, I agreed and transferd fund to this wallet (I am an idiot, I know  ).

He shipped, and even used acronym box to do so, but when we opened it, inside was some stinky rags that someday were grey sweatpants 
Idk why you did something like that, risking all your rep over some petty 2.3k usd, but still.

After confronting him in the chat, he stated to act like he doesn't know anything, plead to his reviews, and after that trying to blame me in changing pants on delivery etc etc 

So yea, this is very stupid and bad situation for me and seems like there no way to get money back (or pants) and its my fault that I got myself into transferring fund to strangers on the internet, but this will be a lesson for someone else out there. 
Unless @dcl_max you willing to cooperate instead of blaming me, post and customs.

If so - please contact me in our DM on reversible and let's figure our shit out.

update to this post, that I should been done few weeks ago 

 

After research, I came to conclusion that package got stolen somewhere in between me and dcl_max 
On my side, I have video of unboxing, but it was already out of the post office. There is no video of packing and sending pants from seller, but after considering all feedback, reviews and other circumstantial evidence I don't think that @dcl_max scammed

Pity,  I couldn't retrieve the pants after all, but that's live, I guess

 I made a video where I cover 7 pairs of Acronym pants and 4 pairs of Nike ACG pants from the era where Errolson Hugh was collaborating with them. 

This has by far been the most detailed video I've ever put together. Acronym wise I cover the pants P30A-DS, P10-E, SP29-M, P39-M, P23A-DS, SP29K-M and P53-WS.

ACG wise I cover the pants ACG Cargo Trousers Blue, ACG Cargo Shorts, ACG Cargo Trousers Black, and ACG Deploy Cargo Trousers

One thing I always miss from newer Acronym pants is how the phone pockets lack extra webbing to wrap over the top of a phone, this is something that was seen on their pants pre 2022 and is for some reason missing today.

Looks like MSCHF is doing a collab release with acr... Not really feeling these myself, but have a look and see for yourselves.. like a bizzaro version of the AF1's, done in MSCHF's typical wavy style.

Hey I'm back so soon that I can see another one of my posts on the same page of the thread.

I made a video where I go over every single Acronym Nike release and cover my personal collection along the way. I also touch on the new MSCHF collaboration. 

I have every Lunar Force 1 because I love that shoe so much, there's also a tier list near the end for my definitive ranking of every pair. I think I get mildly controversial with some of my opinions!

My first thoughts too. They had a chance to drop a reworked First Edition Kit or just a 1:1 version made from modern materials, with posters from Rudnick, maybe some VA album on USB from Raster Noton etc. The J100-WS is ugly as hell though and definitely not worthy of the J100 title.

I have to wonder where in the process this was seen as a good move. Especially since the brand already carries -ws products in stock on ms at the moment, there are many available substitutions at a lower price point. I get that ACR isnt supposed to care blah blah, but it feels like a poorly thought out release and like a project that will never break even. I dont see these selling. 

I agree with the gripes about the J100 title too, wasted opportunity.
