@Davidwyh1998 I am also wearing my j87-ws straight since I picked it up last year in different setups, by now I didn’t need another shell. This was my first ws piece and I have absolutely no complains about the jacket and material so far. It’s just a little flimsy and it appears to be delicate. Stotz is just more durable and comfortable when worn directly on skin, you won’t get any issues like delam, definitely more mid season and summer friendly than ws.

And actually you got a point @brainerd666, why not releasing some classic cuts in Stotz? I mean the could have added the spikes to that too to give it the cool techno Berlin vibes.

@brainerd666 I want to strongly believe the collar has some structure, fingers crossed. At least with the hood rolled in.

@roofus you are a menace for throwing it in a washing machine. I brushed mine with a soft brush, this helped a lot with the touch of the jacket.

@DROVES wool is just og tech, I think it’s pretty cool how the BU material is also actually windproof, apart from the ventholes obviously.

Quick update on the j70 after a few wears and getting into a heavy storm downpour with it. Temperatures range between around 0-8 degree Celsius here at the moment. The wool is starting to become softer and softer, in general it isn’t that stiff anymore and kind of becomes a piece with character as it molds onto my body a little. The feel of the wool is super soft and cozy now, yet it has structure. I would say it keeps a nice climate even with just a longsleeve underneath, it may gets a little chilly around the vent holes in harsh conditions. With a thin down liner underneath it maintains a good microclimate too. Even if it can manage to handle a few droplets with limited bedding properties it isn’t made for heavy downpours. It gets soaked, really heavy and stiff within like 10mins of hard rain. Laying it flat to dry prevented deforming which may occur on wet wool in general.

I think in some cases downsizing works, as I learned over time on most items it’s not as there is always at least one part of the pieces which is not fitting when sized down. I will check anyways on the small one, if not I will let it go for a decent price or try trading for a medium

Anyone picked up the j115 and sized down? I am wondering if sizing down 1,5-2 sizes is a good idea as i got offered one in a trade and it’s a small. Usually I wear large and sometimes medium in shells. I managed to try on the jacket in medium, it fits quite perfect with a v91 underneath and massively oversized without a liner, the neck on the medium is perfect for me. I am not sure if sizing down would do the "cut" justice as it’s intended to fit like it does. Also the neck might be too narrow on the small for me… Any impressions would help! this is the medium without and with v91 underneath.
