I've finally got my first pair of Ande Whalls

Just got my first pair of Ande Whalls:

Ande put some thought in to potentially using some AI denim, so I basically purchased his sample pair.

The cut I chose was "Slacker" in attempt to achieve a fit similar to a "Grifter" after a soak. The "Slacker" cut has a little extra room in the rise, which will shrink during the soak.

The construction of these jeans is exceptional. You can tell that there is a lot of care that went in to making these. I decided to post detail shots (and yes, I know they are large), because I think the details are the best part about these jeans.

2 questions:

Are hand felled yoke seams as durable compared to a chain stitched yoke?

I usually wear out my hems, will the rope come out over time?

Nice nietenhosen! That denim is lovely in it's cross hatchiness. I still rate that selvage chambray pocketing, I changed to a regular cotton as I couldn't get a hold of any exact same stuff.

Haha, sorry I missed this. Had to google Gooners too. Na not a Gooner, I don't follow the round ball game that much, mostly rugby and league. My friends hubby is from Stevenage, so I always say...I support Stevenage mate! He thinks I'm stupid because they are rubbish and in the 2nd or 3rd division.

It's a fact most gooners choose to dress like that.
