I have a pair of what I am sure are early Lee Japan 101B's, but I can't find the Made in Japan or "JPN" on the inner label. If anyone can help me identify that they are indeed Lee Japan from the photos below I'd be really grateful. Think I bought these in 2001. Thanks in advance for your help.

The part that says 日本製 (nippon sei) at the bottom of one of the tags means it is made in japan :)

ok , finally got my lee archives frisco jeans. was a big hassle mailing with warehouse, but it payed off. still hope they wont shrink, wich was one of the things i could not find out via mail.

they are very soft much unlike the ben davis pants ( wich are not 100%cotton). and way to long , but i am afraid they will shrink in the waist after i wash em.

try to post some pics

Have you posted the right photos? These look like Buzz Rickson Levi's repros to me. They're made by Toyo, not Edwin.

Fardin, please post photos! And thanks for your vigilance in spotting these new models.

Maybe I'll add a quick pic of my work Riders soon, I never ever worry about how these jeans fade & they always seem to come out great.

thanks paul.

i will post some. wish i could have gotten the cant bust em frsico jeens too. i always wanted to have a pair of these ever since reading about them in your book. and its great that warehouse is making some of the more obscure lee related repros now. ( like the cant bust em logger pants)

here a pic of longshoremen waiting for their strike in 1934 san francisco, most of em ar wearing friscos ( wich was kinda part of their union made uniform)

Can any of you boys and girls help with a few more details on these? Like, are they Lee Japan or not, and are they oversized etc?

http://www.oki-ni.com/Mens-Jeans/Lee-Cowboy-1930-Jeans/invt/lj0006dry

I asked, and all they could tell me was that they were made in Japan...

Cheers :)

CTB

These are Lee Japan I believe, rather than edwin. I have a pair - They are great jeans: Alot 'bluer' than most Lees, could be natural indigo, but I dont think so.

Sizing: I'm a 34 and the 34 measured 36, so I bought a pair of 32 which measure 34. Hemmed, washed twice at 40c, had them for 6 months. Leg has shrunk 1".

They are identical to a pair pictured in Paul T's book.

They are a QUALITY item.

Just the answer I needed! Cheers, really appreciate it!

How long was the leg, by the way?

Oh, and there's a 40% off code for all jeans on this link:

http://www.oki-ni.com/icat/eosd/

The code is SEASONEND, use it under 'additional services' at checkout.

i was tempted by these, too:

The leg was originally 37" ! Got them from Aero for £130.

hey crash as master heech said they are lee japan.

i also bought mine this summer at the cultizm sale. i love those 30s lees, my fave jeans at the moment.

beautiful pants, be sure to size down. i am a 32 and bought the 30. the color is bluer then the rest of the lee japan range. i think you can still get them much cheaper from aeroleather or through japan.

here is the aero link

and chuck great link!

yes i think they are all the same length as far as i know.

check out this page for the sizes

http://item.rakuten.co.jp/furutaka/c/0000000112/

intersting thing is that the cant bust em stuff that first poped up on the warehouse blog and then page is also beeing sold on the furutaka page ( they dont sell warehouse though)

so i guess it is made by lee japan rather then warehouse. all very confusing. strage thing is also that some of the lee jalan products are not on the lee homepage.
