Full Count Denim Thread

LHT = left hand twill. Indicate the direction of the weave. If you look at the jean, the grain lines run from the top left-hand corner of the fabric towards the bottom right. Lee denim always use LHT where as Levi's always use right hand twill. Most denim produced now is RHT.

12.5 oz is light weight but vintage denim from the 40s and 30s are about 11.5 to 12.5 oz. Heavier isn't always better.

Thanks Snake , I like 13-13.7 oz denim, I like to wear it comfortable. I care about how it fade more that thickness of fabric.

Fullcount just released 3 new jeans made of 15,5oz denim.

is the WWII repro the one snake linked us to, to vote on the details?

Fullcount is taking a survey to help them determine the details of their next limited WWII jean.

Poll is open till July 20th. One can pick types of denim, the cut, buttons, rivets, color of stitch, back belt loop location, color of painted arc.....etc. Something about 10% off at the end too but the translation tool wasn't clear.

http://www.smaster.jp/Sheet.aspx?SheetID=47206

if it is, heres 10% discount for those WWII repros. either one of them is the code couldn't really figure out from the google translator.

I wonder how close that denim is the what was used for the BiG contest?

Two odd things.... the WWII 1100's silhouette looks very 1960s. Weird shape choice for a WWII model. And the 0105 is listed as narrow straight. My 0105C isn't narrow or straight. I wonder if there's been a pattern change?

The WWII is based on the 1101 cut which is loosely based on the 66 model. Originally, it comes with paper patch and no hidden rivets. FC added the leather patch and hidden rivets later.

As far as the 0105, I think FC just posted the wrong info. It is still the same as the 0105C as far as the cut.

  • 2 weeks later...

the other night I got to bug to get out a pair of 1108C I had bought and only worn once or twice. I'd lost some weight since getting them, and they fit much better (though still lower waisted than I like). I'd forgotten how dark and inky the contest denim is, nearly looking black. is the standard FC denim that dark?
