I'd go for a more 70s cap lke the ones they wore in "the deer hunter", has that whole working class american vibe to it and removes the "urban" part of the equation.

The rakers seem ot fit everyone in a very interesting way... I can't quite put my finger on it, but it is how I believe that Dior should cut their jeans. Slim without the anorexic look.

Bobo- You want the Cooperstown collection. All repro of vintage hat designs for days past. Perfect for what you want. They usually have a more vintage shape to them as well. Not as high-crowned and structured as today's new era's
