Strike Gold wins. I always felt that Buzz Rickson and Real McCoy's made the best loopwheeled sweaters in the world, the only reason anybody should go for BR over RM is the lower price BR offers, and the only reason they're able to offer a lower price is because they produce more per year. Then Strike Gold's version came along and it's Game Over.

(I feel terrible saying that being a devoted Buzz Rickson fan and dealer, but i'm a hobbyist before anything)

FYI, the Strike Gold sweatshirts do shrink. We're getting reports of them shrinking a bit, not nearly as much as the old Flat Head ones from four years ago but not as little as the current Buzz Rickson ones.

The product pages have been modified with a disclaimer to reflect this.

nice, was leaning that way anyway. glad you put the note up about shrinkage, looks like these are cut broadly across the shoulders but fitted through the chest so the inch could be pretty significant
