Do the sleeve lengths on the freedom sleeve models fit as short compared to the set-in sleeve models as the size charts suggest? I think that there was about a 2" difference between an XL sleeve length across the two models, but I know that it's hard to compare due to the different sleeve constructions.

No, the charts for these sleeves are all weird IMO. I am still having to do a half roll on the sleeves.. I don't have super short arms, but do always find that I have to do a half roll with most Japanese sweater. For reference I’m only 5’9” and wide though, so if you’re tall, yeah, this prob won’t work.

FWIW, I have both freedom sleeve and set in sleeve models of this in size L and the sleeves fit about the same on each in my opinion. I roll the cuffed part up on each. Overall, it seems the body of the freedom sleeve ones fits a bit shorter and the neck hole is a bit wider.

This is my experience also (l have both models in size XL) - but l do wish they had made the set in sleeve model neck width a tad bigger, similar to the size of the freedom sleeve.

Thanks! This is helpful. I have the opposite problem because I’m 6’3-6’4”. I can wear the Cushman XL set in sleeve fully uncuffed, but any shorter than those sleeves would not work.

Selling my Warehouse 1001X-25 (25th Anniversary 1950 Model) in size 34. They have a stitched down red tab and both arcs.

Gave these a very hot soak and tried my best to retain all indigo while shrinking them down to my 32 size - alas the back rise is still too high for me. The waist shrank down quite a bit but it's banner denim so should easily stretch back to size. Would be best for someone with a 33/34 waist.

Tried on and moved around, but never wore them.

Asking $250, paid $350 from Signet 🫠

Measurements in cm:

  • Waist 41
  • Front Rise 31
  • Back Rise 41
  • Thigh 32.5
  • Inseam 81
  • Hem 22.5

Toys McCoys Steve McQueen chinos, W32

Brand new, tags present but not attached

Rodeo sent me the wrong size. (I ordered 34.) I only noticed after I'd taken the tags off and tried them on.

£120 plus postage

I'll take photos and measurements if anyone's interested.

Save me the bother of having to return them!

Freewheelers Vanishing West 601xx 60s "Rude Black" One Wash Size 38 x 32

All tags and flasher still attached.

I wore them for several hours while sitting on my couch but have determined they're too small in the waist for me. there is some creasing at waistband and top button, as well as behind the knees.

Note the denim doesn't have the same amount of give as the denim on the 601xx 1951.

The only place left on the Internet that has these in this size is DC4, which is where I purchased these from.

Bought for $379 all-in. Selling for $300 shipped within US. Contact for international.

I have a brand new Django Atour Peaked Lapel Jacket (https://www.ateliergardenia.com/items/98041158) in size LL that’s quite a bit too small on me. It’s a really lovely jacket, and I’m sad not to be able to make it work. It would probably be a good fit for a US M or JP L, give or take.

Photos and measurements on Atelier Gardenia’s website are largely accurate, but here are some shots with a tailor’s tape as an extra point of reference.

Happy to post more detail shots on request. The fabric is a beautiful mid-weight linen, and it’s half-lined in a very soft cotton. The workmanship is top notch. I paid ¥55k = $360, which already felt like a steal, but I’d be happy with taking a bit of a loss for the sake of getting it to a good home. Send any reasonable offers my way.

A few things, kinda in between size 34 and 36 in warehouse and some freewheelers. Preferring looser fit or oversized lately. All I’ve worn lately is sugar cane 1947 or full count 0105ss. Both way more comfortable than any warehouse I’ve ever had. In general I’m just sick of buying and hoarding and collecting.  Still have probably more than I can ever wear. Will continue to get rid of stuff over the next few months when I have time to go through it.
