Just returned from Chicago and it wasn't that cold at all except for one day. The deck jacket was a bit too warm most days actually...

Reminds me of when I worked in Chicago for a month Jan 2015 and bought the same jacket just for the trip. It was like -30 most of the time so Strike Gold Hoodie underneath this jacket was my go to. Sold it for $300 last year

@goodrain I only get to wear it a few times a year at home, really came in handy during the Snowpocalypse earlier this year.
It's not great for traveling with, we took this trip with only carry-on luggage and it's super bulky.
Had to wear it through the airport which wasn't ideal. More pockets would've been nice, but it's my warmest jacket and I thought I was going to need it.
If I lived somewhere colder I'd probably get something a bit more technical / practical.

Indeed! Inside chest pockets were sorely needed but I guess wouldn't be period correct. Warm as hell tho fosho.

Even though the Pandemic has been a tragedy to many it has really improved my life, for which I am grateful.

Not having to commute 2-3 hours a day just to sit in front of a computer means I got time for the gym and basketball
