TCB: happy jeans contest

I myself am going with a 34x28 (talk about short and wide!)...I could do the 33 but I'm honestly more of a 34 waist these days (you may have seen the food pictures on insta lol) and plan to wash about once a week for that mom jeans look, and don't want to worry about having to stretch them out every time. I feel the fabric will speak for itself though so I'm not worried about losing color!

I hope the thighs on these arent gonna be too big for me. according to the measurements from rusty goose and ed&co I should be expecting around 13inches in the thigh for a 34raw pair. thats about a half inch bigger than my 36 raw 1955 LVC.

Are you sure Erk? My raw size 32 LVC 1955s have a 13" thigh, BiG style.

My 55501, tag size 32,  are more like 12 inches, 12 1/2 max.

 

I'm starting to do an LVC... getting worried that the 32 tag, measuring well over 34 raw, is going to be pretty big compared to my 55501. I guess, going by Ed's undersize measurements, it will all even out, altho I don't quite understand how they can shrink a full three inches.

Mine, tagged 34" waist are 32cm (12.6") upper tight (BIG Style) after 3 x 40°C washes, dried & not worn... waist is 39 cm (15.35") but it will stretch ~1" by wear, from my experience... sizing match +/- Ed's measuring guide a few pages back...

Although I won't be taking part in the Contest, it has inspired me to buy the 60's pair that were on ebay that ColdStorage mentioned a few pages ago. I should have them some time next week and I'm really looking forward to them as my LVC 66's are too big for me at the moment.

 

Also, I went into the future and took a couple of pics of the TCB 50's Jeans Contest meet up.

^Congrats. Noticed they sunk to the "SOLD" area of my watchlist.

 

Thought about buying them myself of course, but that would've been greedy with the 50s coming in and so many other pairs already neglected at present...
