And of course, some of the food I ate in HK:

Pineapple buns are a gift from god:

One of many egg tarts I ate:

Gotta love HK style cafes:

And Beef brisket noodles from Kau Kee which photograph well but leave much to be desired:

Ironic that Kau Kee is famous for their beef but it was almost impossible to chew! Joe of RRL fame recommended a place just a block or two down the street from RRL but I had to pull the tourist move and eat least try Kau Kee. Unfortunately I didn't have much time and didn't get to meet up with SM but I'll be back in HK soon!

^I did Airbnb...If the owner is Japanese, they'll likely take good care of the premises and should be clean. Pricing is VERY affordable as well, and many also have portable WiFi as a free bonus. Yuka-san has decent properties and good pricing; we lucked out and got one of the rooms for $41 a night with flash sale pricing: https://www.airbnb.com/s?host_id=11675845

Volvo, that's cool, man. You should do it. Her style will complement Pietro Sedda's nicely.

yeah that what I think, my best friend is going with me too so we'll another tat by the same artist, after Pietro Sedda's twin piece we got.

I want to get a deer tattoo this time. Every year one animal, in a few years I will have a medieval bestiary over my body!

Damn, I can't remember the Japanese tattoo artist's name that is based in Italy, but I've always liked his work. Will update if I can remember!

that would be Koji Ichimaru. Great tattoo artist, not exactly my style but he's one of the best in Italy nonetheless. I'd say his Japanese inspired themes would get a general sufu "stamp of approval" !

Aho you're killing me with all those Asian foodporn pics. No chance over here to get decent Asian food, unless in Milan or Rome (but when I go to Rome it sounds always more clever to try out local food!).

I've got a lot going on with moving and working, so I apologize for slipping a bit in updates!

So-called "Winter weight" is keeping me from wearing these as often as I'd like.  By so-called I mean it has more to do with increased beer consumption while packing, than it does with Winter.

Nice bit of evo Jyoni! I assume you spend a fair bit of time sliding on your knees!

Yes, it's almost impossible for me to avoid early knee wear.  Even when a guy gets older and more selective about work, there's a fair amount of scrambling around.

i use a run o the mill samsung and i get more wrinkles like that when i use the heavy wash setting (put the jeans in with heaps of other items of clothing or at least a towel), cold, 400 rpm spin, extra rinse. could also NOT turn the jeans inside out once they've had a few washes and not stiff anymore as hiyashi-san recommends but do so at own peril. different denim different reactions. cone tends to streak easily since it stays crispy for a bit longer. jap denims in my experience love the washing machine. oh and with normal shop detergent.

let's start a what washing machine do you use thread and be laughed out of sufu!

haha!

W have a humble AEG, but now I realise I've missed out on washing machine nerd-dom, I neglected to note the make of the fab huge top-loader in San Juan Capistrano where mine got their first wash; nor did I note the make of the fab small top-loader on the balcony of our apartment in Nakameguro.

Sorry, I feel I've let everybody down.
