Seconding the above- I've seen those trousers done well before, but the person wearing them was of absolutely heroic proportions and height. Have to wonder what the silhoutte is like overall, choice of footwear, etc.

you are right. i'm typical japanese size and the pants was kinda too big for me so that's the reason why i was selling the pants. but the silhouette was truly amazing it creates real "jodhpurs" style and you can tight the bottom like the collection pic. if you wear the normal derby shoes like guidi with this pants, it looks like you are wearing martens 20 holes.

i think it boils down to the fact that the piece has such an awkward fit. it's not awkward because it was poorly executed by jun, but i think it's awkward due to how jun imagined it to be worn. i had one so i can tell from handling it. the sleeves were very roomy, the body itself didn't have slim proportions. people think (and i did myself) that it should fit like a saint laurent rider but i don't think that was jun's intention.

 

it's a stand-out item but i think the only way you can wear that rider right, is with roomier proportions, layered as fuck and definitely not with clean, austere items. many dudes go wrong and think it's gotta' be the shining light of an outfit. i mean that's where i went wrong with it and decided i didn't have the wardrobe. it is a showy piece but what's it actually got to do is play back-up and be a complement to everything else.
