We do ship to the UK, and the shipping cost is about $30 and up depending on the weight of the pair.

Using a special dyeing method known as Sakizome in Japanese, essentially what this process entails is to rope dye the yarns by hand before the fabric is sewn. How are they supposed to second guess that for you! It depends on value of purchase and luck on the day doesn't it?

The retailer has no influence over that!

Just check the customs policy of your country. I'm sure they have a website telling you how much you are allowed to import without paying customs.

Yeah, impossible to say really. I'm on a bad run though - been stung on my last two purchases from the States.

Seems perhaps that UK customs and excise are tightening up.

What are the chances of having to pay customs fees if i order from the US?

To pay a custom fee when receiving in the US for items is rare, if ever, is what we have found through our experiences. In the UK and other European nations, the customs seem to be more strict and sometimes our customers pay a customs tax on their purchase.

I think the prices have actually increased to reflect the 'free shipping'. I'm sure those Full Count 0105XX were $240 before and now they're $270.

Ah yes, I see it now. My momos were 235 and now they are 260. Then again, most brands increase their prices with inflation and stuff. Guess its not too bad : )
