Why don't you just order at BiG if you're looking for a raw pair. Don't see any other reason than the pricing. Service and the ability to exchange for another size in case something went wrong is also worth something (e.g. worth payin

Shipping costs, Exchange rate, customs...I might end up with at least 100€ extra compared to denimio for example.

Yeah, I understand.

 

I ordered from BiG. And besides shipping I didn't get hit by customs. Have ordered many times from US (also BlueOwl), never got any problems with it. But it still is a risk.

 

I would do it, but I'm a bit biased given the good past experiences.

Good thread. My first pair of PBJs arrived this morning AI-001 Raw 30" but measured 32"

 

 

Was a bit worried about too much shrinkage in the waist so wore them in the bath for the first soak. 

 

 

The natural indigo doesn't stain your bath tub    and now drying..

 

 

 

 

And now dryish and rather tight in the waist but glad i didn't go for the 32. 

 

 

 

Very stiff in their current state but gonna try wear them solid for the next week and loosen them up. Lovely denim though, like nothing I have seen before, its rough and dimply.

Got some 13s last week and finally soaked them yesterday. I was a bit worried, they almost fit pretty good raw and was worried about shrinkage. But 20 minutes in cold water kept them from crushing me. I'm contemplating a second soak. As you can see, they're still pretty stiff with starch:

 

 

I'm amazed at the different fits a pair of jeans can have depending on the person wearing them. Some peoples' look a bit loose, others very slim.

 

I'd say at the moment these have a fit close to my Skull 5010s.

Although terrible lighting, I thought I'd post a couple fit pics. I'll try to post more when there's some good daylight. I'll say I was expecting a smaller leg opening, but I think they're great. Very tight in the knee, but I'm expecting them to stretch. 

 

I'll say for those contemplating these or wondering about the fit, if you have slim legs go true to size or down a little--the waist stretches and the calves aren't skinny at all.

looks like a comfortable fit. glad you got the right size. i regret getting the size i THOUGHT i was for my xx-13 as I now realize theyre squeezing my thighs/waist/knees

Is it because your wearing it too high? I'm used to wearing my jeans pretty high because my previous pairs are mostly mid-high rise, but I realised its much more comfortable to wear to xx-013 lower. Definitely took the squeeze off my thighs and knees.

^ For the first two months I wore my xx-13 pretty high, but even after sagging it a little, the waist line of the jeans can barely fit around my hip cause its tight. @SamLJack Its sz 28/32 but I'm not sure if I'm going to sell it or not.

28 pre soak, and I usually wear a 28 or a 29. I definitely sized down a bit on these, but with how much the waist has stretched I'm glad I did.

Too tight for your taste?
