You have to move on at some point. This is out of your control and doesn’t specifically affect you. You’re becoming your own echo chamber centered around cost vs. value.

Sometimes it’s best to just sit things out and do your best to not affect you.

???? i didn't draw any conclusions here...

I did, however, criticize the HBX raffle because an auction would have been better for the cause as the 4-6k the jacket would fetch goes directly to the charity instead of some guy who pitched 20 bucks.

Anyone have any reviews of the j1b-gt up? Been meaning to buy one and reading some other reviews of it but nothing too in depth. New owner of a j47a-gt and want to get the j1b to swap between the two. Initially loved the simplicity of the j1b but starting to find it boring as well.

Had to break out the J50-WS today, it’s fricking freezing in the UK. I know someone mentioned ages ago (possibly @jeddyhsu?) about a possible ultimate insulated ACR jacket/shell. But would any of you go for an insulated ACR pant if created?

You mentioned insulated pants, I've always wondered if these "WS-P3A" are insulated or is just like a water repellent shell type situation.

Honestly, ds is so good, I don’t really see a need for insulated pants. Add a base layer and I’d be fine till well below freezing. Pretty much a four season fabric.

One year ago today I was not stuck in the frozen north.

Wool longjohns > insulated pants.  Was out hiking yesterday (-1c) with some ws pants and wool leggings under and was perfect.

Those P24-S are tempting me

They are so good, I have been wearing them at least 3x a week since I got them, very easy to style and very comfortable.

Great pair of pants. Can easily be incorporated in a more formal environment.

Just replaced the cardboard base I’ve been placing in my 3rdArm-1 to maintain its boxy silhouette.

I’ve seen 3a-1 base’s sag due to the bag being over-stuffed/weighed down, and added a lightweight flooring to try and fix that.

Here’s the deformation with a single 32 oz. Hydro Flask, and here’s the deformation with the cardboard insert + Hydro Flask.

My only gripe is that the cardboard still bends and must be replaced when too out of shape. I don’t have a more solid material to insert without tearing up the inner X-pac or jabbing into my sides.

If you’re interested in adding your own base, the cardboard’s dimensions are 5.12 x 13.25 inches.

Some kind of fake sale. P31a and J68 were sold out about 3 weeks ago. But now they marked soldout items with 50% discount (for Non EU customers).

Glad someone asked this because I’ve been afraid to ask the same thing for the sake of the wallet.
