Wearing old stuff today. Jacket is GAP 20 years old next year. Jeez that makes me feel old too... Jeans are vintage Lee made in US from I believe 1995 from care tag. Not worn these much since I got them last year. They have a kind of woolly texture. Best way I can explain it. Close up pic to show. Also pretty thick I'm guess at least 15oz but I'm no expert. Really like the back pockets placement. Hat - H&M Jumper - M&S Shoes - Cons10 points

Got a new car almost three weeks ago now, very happy with it so far. Had to get something a little larger with the growing family. Also enjoying driving something electric, was getting tired of filling up every week.9 points

^ Hell yea. We've got an EV too - though my wife mainly drives it. Once our other car bites the dust, which is probably a good ways off, I'm never putting money in an ICE vehicle again, not that I enjoy driving all that much anyways but it's just better in every way - and ours is one that has comparatively crappy range (210 miles). For most lifestyles if you've got a home, it's a convenience not an inconvenience. When we do take longer trips, none of the charging FUD has come to pass (for us). As for me, well, I've been riding the same aluminum fixie/single speed for almost 20 years. Just got back from picking up my first new bike since college. Pretty excited for this one. It's a Wilde Supertramp stock build for those who are into bikes.7 points

Kinda been my uniform lately, nothing but t-shirts during these long summers. Makes for pretty boring fit pics! YM Factory tee. Ooe Yofukuten. Rick Owens.7 points

Wow, does it have enough pockets do you think? You could keep all of your other clothing in the pockets of that one coat. Unless you were Broark of course 😉6 points

Wow!.. @TripicalMidbooster what's the prospects for recovery, will it be full or partial? .. When i was a Niketalk member in a previous lifetime, i'd been gradually selling off my collection to a dude in Orange County, in the time i knew him, he'd left university, got a job, put a payment down on a house and started funding his younger brother through his education, any spare cash spent buying my old Nikes.. One day i got an email from his hospital bed saying he'd suffered a stroke and was recovering from his second surgery.. a stark reminder of how life can change in a heartbeat. ..anyway, welcome to the forum!6 points

helleaux! I thought I should introduce myself now that I've finally joined. I think I've been lurking since 2021 (!) but in late 2022 suffered a stroke which paralyzed me. however, I've been working to recover ever since, and this year started wearing my old clothes again. can't really work on fading jeans right now (I like pre-lawsuit "fake" levi's repros with the arcs) but I also love jackets so I'm committed to this t-back FW 46-47 for now. the rest is very old polo.5 points

Evidently they were careless enough to do just that...peep the top left of the flasher.4 points

Well phew! I'm relieved I got the 30th anniversary version without the arcs. Narrowly escaping a scenario where some pitbull lawyer chases me down on the street & attempts to rip my pants off...🤣4 points

I get about ~370 miles on a full charge, but I've been charging to 85% to keep the battery health in line. That equates to about 300 miles, so I'm only charging once or maybe twice a week depending on how much driving I'm doing. I'm charging in my garage at home via my dryer outlet, and generally it takes about 10 hours. So I'll plug in overnight and it's good to go by the morning. Don't have to worry too much about the cold weather impact, but will keep an eye on it this winter whenever we do get the few weeks of "winter".3 points

I have a couple Ts from Sure and they are consistent in fit even if there is variation in texture and weight that's hard to predict. I've also bought their sweats which are great. I always buy by email, just tell them what I want and paypal them the value. Nice business and they seem like kind people.3 points

I'd wish TCB would do more t-shirts with Sure Mfg. My Caturday tee is probably my favourite in terms of fit. If I onlw knew which version that would be on the XX Development/Sure MfG website it is, I would order it. And if it would be in stock...3 points

Some detail shots and a fit pic of the linen jeans. These things are so comfortable it almost feels wrong. Fabric has few, but significant neps. In general it’s a bit more irregular than the denim I’m used to wearing but nothing like those brands that make it a point. Looks like it was a bit tough to weave. Linen pocket bags are a nice touch. Worn about 4 days and like linen does the creases set quickly. Raised pocket seams are interesting. Happy with this pick up. Jacket pictures later, I don’t have it with me on this trip.3 points

Throwback to 2009. Here are BIG x Fullcount 1108's. Tons of washes, handfuls of repairs. 15 years later it still sees wear and fits like a glove, actually better than I first got them. Out of all the jeans I have bought throughout the years these have stood the test of time and are probably my favorite. Breaking in a pair of Resolute 710 so only have these 2 pairs in my rotation. I've also had a habit of keeping all the price tags and jean tags of all the different pairs I've owned, so here are the original from the run.2 points

My wife’s parents have a Volvo c40 and love it. I’ve driven it a few times and it’s great - very zippy and fun to drive. This is my electric, which I love… although, I still have range anxiety when driving up in the mountains especially in the winter (I’m in Colorado). I’ve had it a bit over a year and the range is pretty drastic between summer and winter. During the winter I also have a ski box on top so that doesn’t help at all. Audi Q8-Etron I like the Rivian @Broark. At first I wasn’t sold on it, but the more I see that model around the more I’ve grown to like it.2 points

Neat choice @Broark, I have trouble getting behind those from an aesthetic perspective but they seem like the pragmatic choice in a lot ways, and of the models they make yours is by far the least bad looking I’ve been looking at EVs recently, too, and if the plan was to make it our only car that one ^ would definitely be in the running. As is, I’m most likely to land on either a Polestar II or one of the new Volvos, but it’s still pretty up in the air…all I know is my new(ish) job has me commuting 25 miles each way and the parking lot has free electric charging, so I’d be a fool not to take advantage2 points

I’m surprised Levi’s are so placid in regards to the use of red tab.. It’s hazy but If I remember rightly.. part of the 2007 lawsuit was not only the placement or colour of tab but it regarded ‘any tab being attached between folded pieces of fabric’ (I can’t remember the exact wording) Levi’s seem much more aggressive in regards to protecting their arcs, flashers or two horse patch, than they do tab.. I mean, we still see tabs, rarely do we see arcs or a patch depicting ‘things’ pulling apart a a pair of jeans.2 points

@beautiful_FrEaKmostly shelved til next summer I’d imagine. I’m sure they’ll come along slowly, they’re a bit of a novelty. But I quite like them!2 points
-
They don’t ‘own all arcs on back pockets’ the Levi’s arcs are a registered trademark and if your arcs look Levi-esque the lawyers will act for infringement / copyright protection.2 points

I picked up a couple Tezomeya short sleeve shirts in their undyed option. Wanted to share how they fit me as I was new to their sizing. I’m roughly 5’9-10” (177cm) 163lb (74kg) and typically wear US Medium shirts and L/40 or 16 in Japan sizes, mainly FW shirts. For Tezomeya, I went with sizes 170 & 175 and they both work well. The 170 hits just below the waistband on the FW 51s in the pics and is great under a denim jacket untucked. The 175 fits looser and longer, but not excessive by any means, just a more relaxed fit. I like the soft, light feel and would be open to picking one of their dyed offerings as I like the muted earthy colors. Thanks @julian-wolf and @AlientoyWorkmachine for the sizing advice! Hope this can also be helpful to anyone else interested in trying Tezomeya. For both pics, Left is 170 - Right is 1752 points

He makes tees (and sweats) for YM Factory, he’s doing a pair of jeans for Jelado but no tees that I’m aware of.1 point

That looks amazing. But crucially missing the sleeve combs (or lack thereof) in the picture! I have way too many jackets to get here anytime soon but I’ll keep trying. I’ve been thinking about a sell off to limit my options and this one would stay for sure. But I’m not sure I can do it.1 point

I have the 1101 30 anniversary, which I bought from their Harajuku store while on a trip to Japan, and can confirm that they do have the arcs and tab… I think they were trying to stay as true as possible to the original jeans. I forget if these were exported, but would be interesting to know if the denim included arcs and tab if they were. The book that came with the jeans is quite nice, but if I hadn’t been in store I would have passed. Pretty sure this is where the higher cost came from.1 point

Freshly cleaned, conditioned, and lightly polished. Left the soles alone. A member of another group confirmed he received this exact make up for Christmas 1962 and they were in fact ACME. Cowboy boots with Phoenix overlay and inlays, double soles, and weird heels. Sorry for the photo dump. New camera phone is spectacular.1 point
