@beautiful_FrEaK you might be right, it's been a few years so my memory is a little foggy.
I just scrolled through their Instagram and saw this mentioned. Didn't see any other mention of the time machine oxidation process.

Ooe makes beautiful jeans -- my favorite overall.  For some (e.g., Shredwin), the top block isn't ideal, but it's always had the magic for me.  I have a hard time distinguishing the various finishes and denims, but the top blocks are similar across models.  If you want a trim leg, go 02, medium 01, and wide 03.

Size 35 of the 02 with hidden rivets - this is still in stock. Only catch is the 31 raw inseam, which for me is great.
I got a pair here a long time ago that is waiting for some day.

I’m blowing up this spot because they’ve had stock here for a long time.

You were always the harbinger of things to come 00, a canary in the mines!
This isn't all that dissimilar to whenever your favorite taco truck or local restaurant gets blown up by food influencers.
I've got a bbq spot near our house that I've been going to for years and lately they've been gaining notoriety.
I'm happy to see them doing well, but I'm also slightly annoyed that I can't just pop in anymore without waiting in line.

is this Moreno?

So what's the deal with the top block? Shallow rear rise or something that makes it feel tighter in the top vs the overall fit?

Yea idk. I am so used to Freewheelers maybe I’m hiking the OOE up too high, but I feel like I’m bottoming out in the crotch and also the rear rise is a bit low.
All of that combined with that I tuck all my shirts. The denim and details are great but the fits they offer  just isn’t for me.

In line with what Shredwin says, I have one pair of their jeans, a buckle back model. I've certainly worn them some, but came to the conclusion that the rise is too low for my taste. They're def not crazy low, probably 12.5 inch (with 36 waist) but it's enough to make them challenging for me. Seems like that's about where they like to proportion their jeans.

I also have two pairs of their double knee work pants (denim, and chambray). Those do have a higher rise and I really like the fit.

Hej mate,

I also just found this entry from their blog about the 60 years finish:

https://ooeyofukuten.blogspot.com/2015/10/oa01xx-105560-years-nos-finish.html

But in my head i still remember some 02 cut with a shorter age (because jeans from the 60s would have aged sorter than the 01 from the 50s...). Will dig deeper :D

Not much more praise I can offer Ooe than I've done throughout this thread but they're my favorite as well, easy. The top block is somehow the most comfortable of all brands for me, which somehow sits near my fluctuating gut in the perfect position whereas most others cause gastro-discomfort 😂
Will also second that their non-standard Levi's cuts with higher rises are also great for me; I rotate the Mechanic Overalls often. Hopefully some who were aiming for the WWII's were able to get them!

Every new pair from Ooe is my new favorite pair of jeans ever, and this time is no exception. Sized up to 40 as my size 38s have been a bit tight, and it's the perfect fit. Like my WOMCON's but tightened up in all the right areas. Will be hard not wearing these during the contest, but these will probably be my main jeans overall the next 10+ years they're that good for me.

They look great Aho, I saw when S&S put the new run up for sale and briefly contemplated getting a pair but eh, my TCB Late S40s are close enough to that vibe for me (and, also importantly, already paid for ;) ). I'm looking forward to seeing how the latest run of Ooe denim evolves on Sufu denizens, though.

Oh, that was you they reposted on their story!

@ATWM since you also have the Ooe Type 2 jacket, do you also find the fit in the neck a bit strange?
It rides up and gives the illusion I have enormous trapezius muscle (which I don't have...). Same with you?
Not that the denim is very stiff but maybe it will improve with wear.

All you @Broark, looks great, hope you can get a hookup from Inspiration!:

Also new pair of 50's jeans:

Really tempting, trying to decide if I really need anything though.
Looks like we've got 3 vests, a pair of 01s in the dull XX-4 fabric, two shades of duck 1890s trousers and a pair in denim as well.
I still have a raw pair of 01s from last year's Inspiration and while I like the design of the 1890s trousers they might be difficult for me to adjust to being left handed.

@beautiful_FrEaK I haven’t had that issue, no. I really feel like it fits me well all over, the crop is the only thing to take into account.
But also, while I’m not a big guy my traps really are a bit are disproportionately developed (I used to a lot of kettlebell lifting primarily, lots of pulling work) - and the shoulders/chest have been the problem areas for me in some jackets that would otherwise be rightly sized.

Does anyone have any idea how small of a production run this actually is? I live ten mins away from the Pasadena Civic Center and am rather taken by the cotton duck pieces.... but wouldn't be able to get to Inspiration til the Saturday.
