THAT'S WHAT THE FUCK I'M TALKIN ABOUT

the_ming: never heard of freezer trick? leave your jeans in the freezer over night and your jeans will no longer smell. And one more trick for those who are going to give up wearing your favorite pair just because it's hot out, use a bacteria spray that you spray onto equipments. This will kill odour, bacteria, fungus. It also prevents any of those things from happening to your jeans.

This is not what I'm talking about...

gross just wash your jeans you dirty fucks.

yeah i've heard of the freezer trick, but i think it's probably a better idea to [wash your jeans when they smell bad. but hey, do whatever you want, they're your jeans. remember, though, that you can get used to a lot of smells and not even notice them anymore (cigarette smokers are a classic example of this) so although you may not smell your jeans, that hot girl who doesn't seem to want to get with you might be able to smell them, so maybe you should get a second opinion after the "freezer trick". again, it's your life, and your jeans, do what you want.

i do suggest that you not let the comments of strangers on the internet get your panties in a bunch, however, cause that makes you come off like a little bitch with sand in your vagina. :)

Hey there, I have thought about using an antibacterial spray as well, but I was worried whether it would have strong chemicals that might damage the jeans. As its said that modern biological laundry detergent might damage the jeans, I'm worried that these antibacterial things might damage the jeans too.

Specifically I'm thinking of using the spray from Febreeze, for pet odours. I dont have any pets but its the only one in the Febreeze range that is antibacterial (99.9% bacteria dead..etc.).

Any thoughts, recommendations on a better antibacterial spray?

Posted this in the small questions thread but didnt get anything

Washing your jeans:

A) Cleans them (Whoa, no way);

B) Prolongs the life of your jeans (See that crotch blowout that is appearing) and;

C) Despite what Nudie (hardly a denim entity) says with their whole 'wait 6 months before you wash' crap, actually doesn't really affect the fade process.

I'd rather get the girl then be worried about smelly jeans.

I vote wash = √

^ proberly because your overthinking it, they are just jeans! wash when dirty....

not really that hard to understand

no its not. +rep

@ the over thinker - if you don't start learning how to decide which sets of information are important, (think grade school word problems) you are going to spend your whole life doing what people on the internet say. is this what you want out of life. to live up to the standard of anonymous internet peoples?

take a leap of faith. believe in yourself and think. you can do it. i promise.

kids these days. smh.

I know it is not directed to me, as the overthinker, but I wanted to ask this question because it'd be nice to spray away the bacteria of the jeans without washing them, and not damaging the jeans.

People say "wash them when they're dirty", but they get dirty after a day. Or if thats extreme, a week. I kinda wanna just anti-bacterialize my jeans once a week or two weeks, or maybe when i went through the mud or some weird stuff!

Anyway, I guess its too specialist a question for anyone to really know whether antibacterial sprays will damage the denim cotton.

really? they get *dirty* after a day? what the hell are you doing in them?

i tell you what gets dirty in a day. my judo gi. when i'm done with judo for the day, that gi is completely soaked with sweat (mine and other people's) and it stinks. it smells really bad, and if i was dumb enough to not wash it, it would smell even worse the next day, so it goes right in the wash after every training session.

jeans (in general) do not get that dirty in a day, but if they do, then wash them. i tend to need to wash my jeans every couple of months, but your mileage may vary. one way to tell if jeans need a wash? they start to smell bad.

this is *not* complicated, guys, so stop over-thinking this stuff and wash your clothes when they need to be washed.

I got neg-repped from Vinneus for posting a single picture last time. So this should make up for it. Sorry that some are out of focus/blurry.

710xx2nd. 4-5 months of light wear (in rotation with two other pairs). One presoak. One rainstorm.

No idea why my right thigh is so much more faded than my left.
